Taidetta vai liiketoimintaa : elämää yhtyeessä – case Takomo

Abstract

Opinnäytetyöni tutkii ja analysoi Takomo-yhtyeen uuden show´n, Time, tuotannon eri vaiheita ja harjoitusprosessia sekä ryhmän vuorovaikutusta ja toimintaa projektin aikana.

Opinnäytetyöni tutkii, miten tiiviisti yhdessä työskentelevän ryhmän sisäinen vuorovaikutus ja toiminta vaikuttavat sekä projektin onnistumiseen että laajemmin yhtyeen menestymiseen.

Tutkimuksessa tarkastellaan myös projektin edistymistä vaihe vaiheelta ja tutkitaan, kuinka laajaa osaamista kokonaisvaltaisen esityksen valmistamiseen tarvitaan.

Aineisto koostuu Takomo-yhtyeen jäsenille kohdistetun kyselytutkimuksen vastauksista sekä henkilökohtaisesta reflektiosta, joka perustuu ryhmän aktiiviseen, osallistuvaan havainnointiin. Kyselytutkimukset suoritettiin ennen projektia ja sen jälkeen. Tutkimus on luonteeltaan laadullista tutkimusta.

Tutkimuksen tulosten perusteella oli mahdollista esittää esimerkiksi ajankäyttöön liittyviä suosituksia ja toimenpiteitä, joilla on mahdollista tehdä tämän kaltaisten teosten harjoitusprosesseista vielä tehokkaampia.

The thesis examines and analyzes the different stages and rehearsal process of the production of Takomo`s new show, Time, as well as the group`s interaction and activities during the project.

The aim of the thesis is to study how the interaction and activities of a group working closely together affect both the success of the project and the success of the band more broadly.

The study also examines the progress of the project step by step and examines the importance of expertise in the preparation of a comprehensive show.

The material consists of the answers to a survey of the members of the Takomo band, as well as a personal reflection based on the group`s active, participatory observation. Surveys were conducted before and after the project. The research is qualitative in nature.

Based on the results of the study, it was possible to present recommendations and measures related to the use of time, which could make the rehearsal processes of these kinds of works even more efficient.
