Tiivistelmä
Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli tehdä ohje hoitohenkilökunnalle haavan alipaineimuhoidosta. Tavoitteena oli lisätä hoitohenkilökunnan osaamista ja antaa tietoa haavan alipaineimuhoidosta ja sen toteuttamisesta. Haavan alipaineimuhoito on haavanhoitomenetelmä, jonka vaikutus perustuu negatiiviseen alipaineeseen. Hoitomuoto on yleistynyt viimeisen kymmenen vuoden aikana kroonisten sekä akuuttien haavojen hoidossa.
Teimme ohjeen tuotekehitysprosessina. Tuotekehitysprosessi alkoi ongelmien ja kehittämistarpeiden tunnistamisella. Sosterilla oli tarve lyhyeen ja ytimekkääseen ohjeeseen haavan alipaineimuhoidon toteutuksesta, joka tulisi hoitohenkilökunnan käyttöön. Ideavaiheessa toteutimme aivoriihen tuotteesta ja benchmarkkauksen verraten muita opinnäytetöitä. Luonnosteluvaiheessa tutustuimme aiempaan tutkimustietoon ja selvitimme asiasisällöt. Kehittelyvaiheessa toteutimme ryhmähaastattelun kolmelle hoitajalle. Tämän jälkeen teimme tarvittavat muutokset ohjeeseen. Vielä lopuksi halusimme palautetta lähes valmiista ohjeesta, joten toteutimme Webropol-kyselyn Sosterin kirurgian osastolle 2A, kotihoidon henkilökunnalle sekä kirurgian poliklinikalle. Viimeistelyvaiheessa muotoilimme ohjeen yksityiskohtia palautteen pohjalta.
Valmis ohje on pituudeltaan yksi A4 molemmin puolin. Ohje on jaoteltu kahteen eri palstaan, joissa kuvien alla on siihen liittyvä teksti. Ohje pitää sisällään haavan alipaineimuhoidon toteutuksen kaikki vaiheet, teoriatiedon ja hoitokäytänteet huomioon ottaen. Jatkokehitysideoina syntyivät ohjeen päivittäminen uuden tutkimustiedon ja hoitokäytänteiden mukaan sekä laajan oppaan tekeminen haavan alipaineimuhoidosta. The objective of the thesis was to make a guide about negative pressure wound therapy for medical staff. The main goal was to increase health personnels skilfulness and to give
them knowledge about negative pressure wound therapy and its implementation. Negative pressure wound therapy is a treating method, based on negative pressure. The treatment has become more popular in the last decade in treating chronic and acute wounds.
The guide was created through a product development process. The process began with
recognising the problems and needs for improvement. Sosteri had a need of a short and
concise guide on the implementation of negative pressure wound therapy, which would be used by the health personnel. In the idea phase, the brainstorming method was used to reflect on the product, and benchmarking was used to compare other theses. In the sketching phase, earlier research was examined and subject matters decided. In the development phase, a group interview was conducted with three nurses. After that, the necessary changes were made to the guide. Finally, feedback on the guide, was required, so a Webropol survey was made for Sosteri’s surgical unit 2A, the home care staff and the surgical polyclinic. In the finishing phase, the details of the guide were modified based on the feedback.
The finished guideline is the length of one A4 sheet, printed on both sides. The guide is divided into two columns, and there is text under the photos that are attached. The guide includes all phases of implementing negative pressure wound therapy and considers the theoretical knowledge and treatment practice. Development ideas include updating the guide based on research and treatment practice, as well as making an extensive guide on negative pressure wound therapy.
