Optisen verkon toiminta ja toteutus monikameratuotannossa : Kassun karnevaalit 2011

Abstract

Tämä opinnäytetyö käsittelee optisen verkon toimintaa ja toteutusta osana monikameratuotantoa. Työn käytännönosuus tehtiin Kassun Karnevaaleilla 7.-10.9.2011. Tapahtuman aikana toteutettiin kolme monikameratuotantoa, jotka olivat Mikkelin ammattikorkeakoulun 20-vuotisjuhla, sekä kaksi yhtyeen keikkaa.

Työn teoriaosuudessa käsitellään aluksi optisia kuituja sekä niiden ominaisuuksia. Tämän jälkeen perehdytään optiseen tiedonsiirtoon. Teoriaosuuden lopuksi käsitellään vielä monikameratuotannon laitteistoja. Käytännönosuus pitää sisällään tuotannon valmistelun, testauksen sekä toteutuksen. Työn lopuksi kerrotaan vielä tulokset tuotannon onnistumisesta sekä omat johtopäätökset.

This bachelor’s thesis described the operation of the optical network and its implementation in a multi-camera production. The practical part of the bachelor’s thesis was carried out at Kassun Karnevaalit held from 7 to 10 September 2011. During the event three multi-camera productions were carried out, involving the 20th anniversary party of Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences as well as two band gigs.

The theory section dealt first with optical fibers and their properties. After that the focus was on optical data transmission. The end of the theory part dealt with multi-camera production equipment. The practical part included the preparation, testing and implementation of the production. Finally, the end of the work covered a description of the results regarding the production and my own conclusions.
