OPASKIRJA JA PERUSTIETOA PÄIVÄHOIDOSTA PÄIVÄKOTI PIKKU AKATEMIASSA

Abstract

Diakonia-ammattikorkeakoulu, Järvenpään yksikkö, sosiaali- ja kasvatusalan koulutusohjelma, sosionomi (AMK) + lastentarhanopettajan kelpoisuus. Oppinäytetyöni on toimintatutkimuksellinen prosessi, jonka tuloksena syntyi opaskirja, joka on tarkoitettu erityisesti pienten lasten vanhemmille. Tässä opaskirjassa tarkastellaan lapsen päivähoitoon liittyviä asioita varhaiskasvatuksessa. Kehittämisprosessi oli monivaiheinen yhteistyöprosessi, johon hankin aineistoa kyselylomakkeilla vanhemmilta ja henkilökunnalta. Aineiston perusteella tein päätökset, mitä aiheita opaskirjani tulee käsittelemään. Kyselylomakkeen vastanneiden mielestä tällainen opaskirja on erinomainen tapa saada vuorovaikutus vanhempien ja päiväkotihenkilökunnan kesken. Heidän mielestä opaskirjalla saadaan aikaan keskusteluja, jolla voidaan edistää lapsen päivähoitoa joka puolestaan vaikuttaa oleellisesti lapsen edunmukaiseen hyvinvointiin.

The result of this thesis is a guidebook which deals with day care matters like educational partnership, early childhood education, early childhood educational services and support. The guidebook has been designed for parents and people who are interested in the child’s day care. With the help of questionnaires, I found out what kind of guidebook the day care staff would like to have. This action research was chosen to reach tacit knowledge which is difficult to reach in social work. Questionnaires were given to the parents and the day care staff. I decided about the contents of the guidebook based on the received material from the questionnaires. All the people who answered the questionnaires agreed that the guidebook creates the best cooperation that serves the best interests for the parents and the staff. With the help of the guidebook there can be discussions which can have an impact on day care and consequently influence the wellbeing of the child.
