Tuotekorttien ylösajo

Abstract

Tämän opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli tuotetiedonhallintajärjestelmän, eli PDM–järjestelmän, ylösajoon liittyvien, Mellano Oy:n tuotteista koostettavien tuotekorttien sisällön määritys ja niiden koostaminen. Lisäksi tavoitteena oli suunnitella ja koostaa tuotekortteihin liittyvät kasaus-, asennus-, ja hoito-ohjeet kalusterungoista ja -mekanismeista sekä heloista ja vetimistä.

Aluksi perehdyttiin kirjallisuuden avulla tuotetiedon ja tiedonhallinnan yleisiin käsitteisiin sekä hallintajärjestelmiin ja niiden käyttöönottovaiheisiin. Tuotekorttien sisällön määritys aloitettiin määrittelemällä tuotekortin ulkoasu ja lisättävät tuotetiedot, jotka syntyvät tuotehallintaprosessin tuotoksena. Sisällön määrityksen jälkeen suunniteltiin tuotettavien ohjeiden sisältöä. Kalusterungoista suunniteltiin ja koostettiin kasausohjeet suunnittelupiirustusohjelmalla. Ohjeista oli tavoitteena koostaa selkeät, vaihe vaiheelta etenevät ja helppolukuiset. Mekanismien asennusohjeissa hyödynnettiin ensisijaisesti valmistajien asennusohjeita, mutta niistä muokattiin selkeämpiä ja ohjeita tiivistettiin tarvittaessa. Ohjeiden suunnittelun ja koostamisen jälkeen syötettiin tuotekortteja järjestelmään liitteineen.

Opinnäytetyön tuloksena saatiin luotua tiedostomallit kasaus- ja asennusohjeista. Ohjeiden tiedostomalleja tullaan käyttämään pohjana uusia kasaus- ja asennusohjeita suunniteltaessa ja koostettaessa. Tuloksena saatiin myös luotua tuotekorttien ulkoasu ja määriteltyä tarvittavien tuotetietojen vaatimat tiedonsyöttökentät järjestelmään. Ohjeita ja tuotekortteja koostettiin runsaasti ja niiden koostaminen jatkuu opinnäytetyön jälkeen. Järjestelmää kehitetään tulevaisuudessa siten, että tuotekortteja saadaan hyödynnettyä yrityksen muissa järjestelmissä.

The aim of this thesis was to determine the contents of the product cards for the products of Mellano Ltd. and add them to the Product Data Management system, PDM system. Furthermore, one aim of this thesis was to design and draw up attachments to the product cards like assembly, installation and care instructions concerning kitchen furniture frames, mechanisms, fittings and handles.

At first the document and product data management and implementation phases on a general level were studied with the help of literature. The planing of the content of the product cards was started by defining the appearance and product information additions of the product cards. After that the contents of the instructions were desingned. The instruction on the kitchen furniture frames was designed by a drawing design program. The aim was to make the instructions clear, step-by-step and readable. After designing and drawing up the product cards together with their attachments they were entered in the system.

The result of the thesis were file models for the instructions. These file models will be used as a basis for the designing and making of new instructions. Another result of this thesis were the appearance and product information additions of the product cards and the necessary product information required by the data-entry fields in the system. A great number of instructions and product cards were made and this will continue after this project. The PDM system will be developed in the future in such away that the product cards will be used in the company`s other systems as well.
