Tietokoneen ja internetin viihde- ja hyötykäyttö kotona

Abstract

Tietokoneet ja internet on yhä tärkeämmässä asemassa jokaisen elämässä. Käytämme tietojenkäsittelyä tietämättämme asioidessamme muiden kanssa ja kun hoidamme jokapäiväisiä asioitamme. Tietokone ja internet ovat jossain määrin pakollisia jokaiselle kansalaiselle.

Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena on luoda helppokäyttöinen ja yksinkertainen opas tietokoneen hyöty- ja viihdekäyttöön kotona. Työssä tutkitaan tietokoneen ja internetin ominaisuuksia ja sovelluksia yleisluontoisesti. Opinnäytetyössä tarkastellaan myös internetin välityksellä tapahtuvan viihdetarjonnan vaihtoehtoja ja tarjoajia.

Työn on tarkoitus kerätä tietoa erilaisista vaihtoehdoista ja mahdollisuuksista hoitaa kodin jokapäiväisiä asioita tietokoneen ja internetin välityksellä, kuten esimerkiksi pankkiasiat. Työssä tarkastel¬laan myös tietokoneen käyttöä asumisturvallisuuden ja -viihtyvyyden lisäämiseksi.

Tietojenkäsittelyn ja viestintätekniikan nopean kehityksen takia ajantasaista kirjallisuutta on vähän saatavilla joten työ perustuu suurimmaksi osaksi internetistä hankittuun aineistoon. Teknologian muutosnopeuden johdosta oppaat ovat vanhoja jo ilmestyessään.

Computers and the Internet have an increasingly important role in everyone's life. We use data processing without knowing when communicating with others and when taking care of daily routines with computers and the internet. The computer and the Internet are somewhat mandatory for every citizen.

The purpose of this study was to create an easy-to-use and simple guide for users’ benefit and entertainment at home. It examined computer and Internet features and applications on a general level. The study also examined entertainment options and providers available on the internet.

The study was the done by collecting information on various options and opportunities to take care of daily routines with computers, such as bank issues. Also the use of computer and the internet in terms of housing safety and well-being was studied.

The study showed that due to the rapid development of data processing and communications up-to-date literature was scarce and the work and user guide based mostly on data obtained from the Internet. The rate of changes in technology is so rapid that user guides of this kind cannot keep up and are often old already when they appear.
