Verkkoperehdytysten haasteet : Rakennusalan tuottavuuden parantaminen yleisperehdytyksiä kehittämällä.

Abstract

Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli kartoittaa rakennusalan verkkoperehdytysten haasteet sekä herätellä varsinkin pääurakoitsijoita nykytilanteen mahdottomuuteen. Tavoitteena oli saada aikaan keskustelua mahdollisuudesta siirtyä yhteiseen yleisperehdytykseen ja synnyttää tahtotila tehdä tarpeeksi kieliversioita.

Opinnäytetyö toteutettiin tutkimustyylisenä LTU Asunnot Oy:lle. Menetelmäksi valikoitui triangulaatio, koska alusta asti oli selvä, että työssä käytetään useita eri tiedonhankintamenetelmiä. Käytin aineistokeruumenetelminä kenttätyöhavaintoja, kvantitatiivista ja kvalitatiivista tutkimusta sekä teemahaastattelua.

Tutkimuksen tärkein tulos oli, että kieliversioiden puuttuminen tuottaa suuria haasteita ja vaikuttaa suoraan heikkenevästi työturvallisuuteen. Tärkeäksi seikaksi nousi myös perehdytysten suuri lukumäärä ja miten paljon aikaa ja rahaa niiden tekemiseen menee.

Tutkimustulosten mukaan, saataisiin verkkoperehdytysten haasteet ratkaistua sillä, että pääurakoitsijat ja RATEKO istuisivat samaan pöytään ja kehittäisivät ePerehdytys tyylisen yhteisen, yleisen verkkoperehdytyksen. Tähän verkkoperehdytykseen olisi olemassa monta eri kieliversiota ja siihen pystyttäisiin nopealla aikataululla tekemään uusia kieliversioita.

The purpose of this thesis was to map the challenges of online inductions in the construction industry and to awaken the main contractors, to the difficulties of the current situation. The thesis was carried out for LTU Asunnot Oy. The aim was to start a discussion on the possibility of moving to a common general online induction and point to the need for creating enough language versions of such induction.

Several different data collection methods were used to conduct the thesis. Thus, triangulation of data collection methods helped to obtain a wide picture of the problem. The research methods included fieldwork observations, quantitative and qualitative research, and thematic interviews.

The thesis revealed that the lack of language versions poses major challenges to the effective induction and has a direct detrimental effect on occupational safety. The thesis also revealed a large number of inductions and the amount of time and money it takes to do them, which became an important finding.

According to the results of the thesis, the challenges of online induction could be solved by having the main contractors and RATEKO sit at the same table and develop a common, general online induction in the style of ePerehdytys. There could be many different language versions for this online induction, and it would be possible to make new language versions on a fast schedule.
