Tiivistelmä
The main objective of the study was to gather information about occupational safety in Russia and Finland. The secondary aim was to compare factors related to occupational safety in Russia and Finland and create the guideline about occupational safety for a foreman who is not familiar with matters related to occupational safety in Russia. In the theoretical part of the research, the principal issue was to reach the main idea of occupational safety in each country. The purpose of the comparison tables was to help Russian and Finnish civil engineering workers easier move to another country and to make their adaptation better.
Information for the study was gathered from the laws, decrees, and other official documents of both countries. All the sources and guidelines in this thesis work were based on the official documents, decrees, and laws. The information for this thesis work was collected from colleagues and their experiences in the field of occupational safety.
The result can be applied to engineers from Finland and Russia.
