Tiivistelmä
The focus of this Thesis is to define the essential features of a new match-making recruitment digital platform dedicated to connecting highly educated professionals with potential employers. This match-making recruitment digital platform was designed by a start-up company WORLDth Oy. This Finnish company has recognized the need of highly educated professionals such as MBA students and graduates to reach to companies via a specialized recruitment platform.
This study starts with the analysis of existing knowledge and best practices, which enables the development of the conceptual framework to continue conducting the current state analysis. The analysis focuses on the product-market fit and the feature set of the recruitment platform demo and ends with the identification of strengths and weaknesses of the platform demo. Data was collected mainly through interviews with potential users and competitor analysis.
This study's outcome is a proposal focused on improving the current digital platform prototype so that to ensure it has the essential features before the launch. The initial proposal was presented and evaluated by the founders of the case company and via collecting professional feedback for further development of the final proposal. The new platform will allow to have a range of new features that are currently missing in any existing recruitment platforms, namely a match-marking feature and direct linkage to social media. These features make the new platform a unique offering on the market.
