Perheryhmäkoti Liekin ja Tuikun osakirjanpidon kehittäminen

Abstract

Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli kehittää Lieksan kristillisen opiston kirjanpitoa yhtenäistämällä ja kehittämällä opiston alaisuudessa toimivien perheryhmäkotien osakirjanpidon käytäntöjä kohti sähköistä toimintamallia. Lieksan kristillisen opiston alaisuudessa toimiva perheryhmäkoti Liekki on yksityinen lastensuojeluyksikkö, joka tarjoaa kodinomaisen ympäristön seitsemälle 10–18-vuotiaalle nuorelle. Perheryhmäkoti Tuikku on yhdeksänpaikkainen maahanmuuttajanuorten tukiasumisyksikkö.

Opinnäytetyö rajattiin koskemaan niitä kirjanpidon käytäntöjä, jotka ovat perheryhmäkotien vastuulla, koska näiden kehittämisestä koettiin olevan eniten hyötyä toimeksiantajalle. Kassakirjanpidon ja palkanlaskenta-aineiston kehittäminen muodostivat opinnäytetyön kaksi erilaista kehittämistehtävää. Opinnäytetyön teoreettisena viitekehyksenä toimi pääasiassa kirjanpitoa koskeva lainsäädäntö ja siihen verrattavissa olevat ohjeistukset.

Kassakirjanpidon kehittämiseksi luotiin toimeksiantajan, kirjanpitotoimiston ja lainsäädännön vaatimuksia vastaava Excel-pohjainen kassakirja. Kassakirjan tarkoituksena oli vähentää käsinlaskemista ja luoda hyvän kirjanpitotavan mukaiset yhdistelmätositteet kirjanpitotoimistolle. Kassakirjan tueksi luotiin kassakirjanpidon ohjeistus, joka toimii tukena ja apuna uuden kassakirjan käyttöönotossa ja käytössä, niin vanhoille kuin uusillekin työntekijöille. Kassakirjanpidon ohjeistukseen sisällytettiin myös auki kirjatut tililuettelot, joiden on tarkoitus toimia apuna kuluja tiliöitäessä.

Palkanlaskenta-aineiston kehittämistehtävä toteutettiin testaamalla Pretax Velho Oy:n tarjoamaa Työvuorovelhoa. Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli testata Työvuorovelhon soveltumista perheryhmäkotien työvuorosuunnitteluun ja palkanlaskenta-aineiston tuottamiseen kirjanpitotoimistolle.

Testaaminen suoritettiin Pretax Velho Oy:n luomien testitunnusten kautta, luomalla toimeksiantajan työaikamallin mukaisia työvuorolistoja ja kokeilemalla palkka-aineiston siirtoa palkanlaskijalle. Suoritettujen testausten perusteella Työvuorovelho soveltuu hyvin toimeksiantajan perheryhmäkotien työvuorosuunnitteluun ja palkanlaskenta-aineiston tuottamiseen. Päätös Työvuorovelhon mahdollisesta käyttöönotosta perheryhmäkoti Liekissä ja Tuikussa jää Lieksan kristillisen opiston kannatusyhdistyksen hallitukselle.

The aim of this thesis was to develop the bookkeeping system of Christian community college of Lieksa (LCCC) by developing the subsidiary ledger practices in two family group homes that operate under the administration of LCCC. One of these homes, Liekki, is a private child-protection unit, which offers a family-like living to seven youngsters between the ages of 10 and 18. The other home, Tuikku, offers supported accommodation for underage immigrants who arrive in Finland unaccompanied by a parent or guardian.

The thesis investigates only those bookkeeping practices that are on the responsibility of the family group homes. The work covers two different tasks: the development of cash accounting and the development of payroll material. The theoretical framework is based on legislation on accounting and instructions for interpreting the legislation in practice.

A new Excel-based cash book was created to develop the cash accounting. The idea of the cash book was to reduce manual calculations and create summary vouchers for the accounting company in accordance with good bookkeeping practices. The new cash book meets the demands of the client, the accounting company and the law. Also, bookkeeping instructions have been created to assist old and new employees with the new cash book. The instructions include a clearly explained chart of accounts to help with entering costs items.

The development of the payroll material was carried out by testing the work-rota planning software called TyövuoroVelho, which is supplied by the Pretax Velho Oy. The objective was to test the suitability of the software for planning work rotas in Liekki and Tuikku and generating their payroll material for the accounting company.

The testing was performed with the help of Pretax Velho Oy by using a test username to create work-rotas and transfer payroll material to the payroll clerk. The software tests were successful, showing that TyövuoroVelho is very useful for work-rota plannins in the client’s family group homes and for producing and transferring the payroll material. The decision about the possible introduction of TyövuoroVelho in Liekki and Tuikku will be made by the management of Lieksa Christian Community College.
