Perehdyttämiskansio Haapajärven Pesä - Kiilojen jäätelökioskille

Abstract

Toiminnallisen opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli tehdä perehdyttämiskansio toimeksiantajan eli Haapajärven Pesä – Kiilojen jäätelökioskille. Toimeksiantaja toivoi opinnäytetyötä kyseisestä aiheesta, koska heillä ei ollut entuudestaan työstä kirjallista materiaalia. Perehdyttämiskansiota tultaisiin käyttämään tulevien jäätelökioskivastaavien perehdyttämisessä, mutta myös tukimateriaalina esimerkiksi jäätelökioskin työntekijöitä perehdytettäessä. Opinnäytetyö toteutettiin toiminnallisena opinnäytetyönä ja perehdyttämiskansio oli sen tuotos.

Opinnäytetyön raportin viitekehys käsittelee työntekijän perehdyttämistä esimiehen näkökulmasta. Viitekehyksessä käydään läpi perehdyttäminen suunnittelusta toteutukseen saakka. Perehdyttämistä käsitellään erityisesti esimiehen näkökulmasta, minkälaisia toimenpiteitä sen järjestäminen häneltä edellyttää ja mihin se häntä velvoittaa. Perehdyttämisestä on irrotettu omaksi kokonaisuudekseen työnopastus, jota käsitellään laajemmin kuin muita perehdyttämisen vaiheita. Lisäksi käsitellään perehdyttämisen ja motivaation välistä suhdetta, miten esimies voi vaikuttaa työntekijän motivaatioon perehdytyksessä.

Opinnäytetyön tekeminen aloitettiin keväällä 2009 ja kesän aikana valmistui ensimmäinen versio perehdyttämiskansiosta. Perehdyttämiskansiota tehtiin samanaikaisesti kun jäätelökioski oli toiminnassa, joten molemmat työt tukivat toisiaan. Perehdyttämiskansioon kerättiin materiaalia lähinnä jäätelökioskivastaavan tehtävien pohjalta sekä jäätelökioskivastaavan aiempaa työkokemusta hyödyntäen. Syksyllä tehtiin opinnäytetyön raportti sekä muokattiin perehdyttämiskansio lopulliseen muotoonsa.

Toiminnallisen opinnäytetyön tuloksena syntyi perehdyttämiskansio jäätelökioskivastaavan tehtäviin, jota tultaisiin vuodesta 2010 alkaen käyttämään jäätelökioskilla perehdyttämismateriaalina. Lisäksi perehdyttämiskansiota tullaan kesällä 2010 testaamaan käytännössä sekä muokkaamaan tarvittaessa.

The subject of this functional thesis was to create an orientation folder for Haapajarvi´s Pesä – Kiilat ice cream stand. The commissioner needed this folder because there was no supporting material for new employees. The orientation folder would be used as orientation material for the future attending manager of the ice cream stand and also as a supporting material to be used when introducing the ice cream stand’s functions to new employees. The thesis was executed as a functional thesis and the introduction folder was its product.

The framework for the thesis describes the process of the employee orientation especially from the manager’s point of view. The framework consists of the orientation starting from planning to execution. The measures and obligations required in orientation are considered. The actual work guidance is separated from the orientation and processed more extensively than the other phases of orientation. The relation of work orientation and motivation is also covered by examining how the manager can affect the employee’s motivation during work orientation.

The thesis was started in the spring of 2009, and during the summer the first draft of the orientation folder was completed. The folder was created simultaneously with the active operation of the ice cream stand, thus they supported each other. The material for the orientation folder was gathered mainly based on the work of the attending manager of the ice cream stand, and her previous experience. The report of the thesis was done in the autumn along with the final version of the orientation folder.

The orientation folder for the ice cream stand’s attending manager was created as a result of the functional thesis. The folder will be used as an orientation material in the ice cream stand in 2010. The folder will also be tested in the ice cream stand during the summer of 2010. Furthermore, the folder will be modified if necessary.
