Ruusupotilaan hoitoprosessi Savonlinnan keskussairaalassa osastolla 4A : Hoitoprosessikuvaus

Abstract

Opinnäytetyöni tarkoituksena on kehittää ruusupotilaan hoitotyötä Savonlinnan keskussairaalan sisätautiosasto 4A:lla. Työni tavoitteena on laatia ruusupotilaan hoitoprosessikuvaus. Ruusupotilaan hoitoprosessikuvaus on tarkoitettu ensisijaisesti hoitohenkilökunnan käyttöön.

Aiheen opinnäytetyölleni sain Savonlinnan keskussairaalan osasto 4A:lta, jossa olen myös ollut harjoittelussa. Osasto 4A:lla oli tarve saada ruusupotilaan hoitoprosessikuvaus, koska sellaista ei vielä ollut.

Opinnäytetyöni teoriaosuudessa on perehdytty prosessien kuvaamiseen, hyvän prosessikuvauksen kriteereihin sekä ruusupotilaan hoitoon ja hoitotyöhön. Metodina työssäni on käytetty tuotekehitysprosessia. Prosessikaavio on tehty Windowsin Visio-ohjelmalla.

Hoitoprosessikuvaus on sähköisessä muodossa, jolloin työn tilaaja voi helposti sitä tarvittaessa muokata ja päivittää. Hoitoprosessikuvaus on perehdytyksen apuväline ja auttaa luomaan yhteiset toimintatavat ruusua sairastavien hoitoon. Prosessikuvauksia tarvitaan myös laadunhallinnan kehittämisessä.

The purpose of this study is to develop the caring process of an erysipelas patient in Savonlinna Central Hospital Medical Ward 4A. The aim of this study was to create a process description. The process description is primarily aimed at the nursing staff.

The topic of this study was given from the Savonlinna Central Hospital Medical Ward 4A. I completed my medical training in this ward and there my interest in the care of erysipelas patient roused. There was also a need to get the process description for ward 4A, because it didn`t exist yet.

The theoretical part of this study deals with the description of the processes, and with the criteria of a good process description. It also deals with the treatment and nursing of an erysipelas patient. The product development process was used as a method in this study.

The process description is in electrical format, so the orderer of this study can easily rework and update it. The description of the caring process is a tool for the orientation process of the staff and it helps with creating a common course of action in the treatment of an erysipelas patient. Process descriptions are also needed in quality management.
