Tuotteen elinkaaren hallinnan kehityssuunnitelma

Abstract

Opinnäytetyön aiheena oli tuotteen elinkaaren hallinnan kehityssuunnitelman luominen Takoma Oyj:n hydrauliikan liiketoiminta-alueelle. Työ keskittyi hydrauliikan liiketoiminta-alueelta tarkemmin hydraulisylinterien osastolle.

Kehityssuunnitelma laadittiin, koska yrityksen tämän hetkinen tuotetiedon hallinta ei ole ajan tasalla, eikä se palvele kaikkia tuotetietoa tarvitsevia työntekijöitä. Suurin tarve kehittämiselle koettiin suunnitteluosastolla, jotta työaikaa saataisiin kohdennettua enemmän tuottavaan työhön. Suunnitelma luotiin kahden teoriaosuuden pohjalta, jotka käsittelivät tuotteen elinkaaren- ja tuotetiedon hallintaa. Tämän jälkeen näitä verrattiin yrityksen nykytilaan.

Suunnitelma jaettiin neljään osa-alueeseen. Ensimmäisessä osiossa käsitellään tuotteen elinkaaren hallintajärjestelmän hankintaprojektin tavoitteita ja aikataulutusta. Toisessa osiossa käsitellään ennen järjestelmän toimitusta tapahtuvia tehtäviä, jotka liittyvät toiminnanohjausjärjestelmään. Kolmannessa osiossa kuvataan projektin aloittamiseen liittyvät tehtävät ja neljännessä järjestelmän asennuksen jälkeiset vaiheet.

Kehityssuunnitelmassa kuvattiin ajallisesti katsoen noin kolmen ja kuuden kuukauden välillä tapahtuvia asioita. Tuotteen elinkaaren- ja tuotetiedon hallinta on jatkuvasti kehittyvä prosessi, joten jatkokehitysehdotuksia tuli välittömästi muutama ja pidemmällä aikavälillä kehitettävää tulee varmasti lisää.

The objective of this thesis was to create development plan for Takoma Oyj hydraulics business segment. This thesis is more focused on the hydraulic cylinders department.

Development plan was created because the employees who needed the product data could not find it. Also the product data was more or less deteriorated. Product Data Management system was not up-to-date and it did not have any kind of support anymore. The biggest need for new product lifecycle management system was in engineering department. Base of development plan was two chapters of theory. The chapters were about Product Data Management and Product Lifecycle Management. After those chapters the present state of the company were compared to the theory.

Development plan was divided into four sections. First section is about goals and schedule of acquiring the Product Lifecycle Management system. Second section is about tasks which have to be done before the system is installed. Those tasks were mostly related to Enterprise Resource Planning system. In third section there are described tasks which are related to starting the project and in fourth section are the phases after installing the system.

In the development plan there was described tasks which happens in about three to six months period. Product Data Management and Product Lifecycle management is constantly evolving process so there came up few development ideas straight away. There is always need for further development of the system and processes.
