Non Fighting Generation ry: Yhteistyöohjaajien perehdytysohjelman kehittäminen

Abstract

Vapaaehtoistoiminta on murroksessa, jossa vapaaehtoiset kaipaavat yhä enemmän projektinomaisia lyhyitä jaksoja osallistua toimintaan. Murros vaatii organisaatiolta vapaaehtoistoimintaan liittyvän osaamisen nostamista ja toiminnan hallittua koordinoimista, toisaalta se vaatii myös vapaaehtoisilta yhä parempaa erityisosaamista.

Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli luoda Non Fighting Generation ry:n (NFG) yhteistyöohjaajien perehdyttämistä varten malli, jonka avulla voitaisiin nostaa niin kasvatusteorian kuin menetelmienkin osalta yhteistyöohjaajien osaamista. Yhteistyöohjaajat ovat NFG:n näkökulmasta verrattavissa vapaaehtoisiin toimijoihin, joten tämän takia opinnäytetyössä on käsitelty perehdytyksen lisäksi vapaaehtoistoiminnan tärkeitä tekijöitä.

Perehdytysmallin rakentamiseen on käytetty tuotekehitystä, jonka tärkeänä osana oli kyselytutkimus. Tutkimuksen myötä konseptisuunnitteluvaiheessa on pystytty rakentamaan perehdytyksen malli. Tutkimustuloksien analysointiin on käytetty teemoittelua sekä Webropolin analysointimahdollisuuksia.

Tuotekehityksen prosessia ei ole viety tässä työssä loppuun saakka, sillä koekäyttöä ei ole tehty. Tärkeänä jatkotutkimuksen kohteena on koekäytön jälkeisen tuotteen eli perehdytysmallin jatkokehittely.

Voluntary work is changing. Today volunteers have increasing needs to do short project-like periods of volunteer work. This transition requires that organizations increase their know-how of voluntary work and control the coordination of activities, but on the other hand, it also requires better special skills of the volunteers.

The aim of this master’s thesis was to create a model for co-instructor orientation to be used in voluntary work within Non Fighting Generation Association (NFG) in order to improve the co-instructors’ knowledge of methods and educational theory. The co-instructors are comparable to the voluntary participants from NFG's point of view. That is the reason why important factors of volunteering are described in this thesis alongside with orientation.

The orientation model was created as a product development process of which a survey formed an important part. The study allowed a model for orientation to be built at the concept planning stage. Thematisation and the potential of Webropol analysis tools have been used to analyze re-search results.

The product development process remains unfinished, because the model has not yet been test run. After a product test run it will be important to research and develop the orientation model even further.
