Perehdytyksen tarkistuslista magneettikuvaustilojen laitoshuoltajille

Abstract

Opinnäytetyöni tarkoituksena on laatia tarkistuslista magneettiyksikössä työs- kentelevien laitoshuoltajien perehdytyksen tueksi. Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena on kehittää laitoshuoltajien perehtyneisyyttä magneettikuvaustilojen turvallisuuteen.

Työn idea saatiin sain Etelä-Karjalan keskussairaalan röntgenosastolta, missä koettiin, että laitoshuoltajat tarvitsisivat magneetin turvallisuudesta enemmän tietoa. Materiaali työhön kerättiin kirjallisuudesta ja haastattelemalla magneetti- kuvantamisesta vastaavaa röntgenhoitajaa ja laitoshuoltajaa. Haastattelu toteu- tettiin puolistrukturoituna haastatteluna. Haastattelun perusteella luotiin kuva laitoshuoltajien perehdytyksestä sekä tarkistuslistan sisällöstä.

Opinnäytetyön tuotos eli tarkistuslista perehdytyksen tueksi tulee Etelä- Karjalan keskussairaalan magneettiyksikköön. Kirjallinen osio toimitetaan säh- köisesti Etelä-Karjalan keskussairaalalle.

The purpose of my thesis is to create a checklist that can be used as support during the introduction period of housekeeping staff. The aim of this thesis is to improve the housekeeping staff’s MRI safety familiarization process.

I got the idea for this thesis from the Southern Carelia Central Hospital X-ray unit. Namely, they thought that more safety information concerning MRI would be needed for the housekeepers. The material for this thesis was collected from literature, as well as by interviewing a housekeeper and an MRI nurse. For the interview, a half-structured interview model was used. The interviews gave a clear picture of what the introduction period was like, and what should be included in the checklist created for this need.

The result of this thesis, the checklist, was done for the MRI unit in Southern Carelia Central Hospital. The written part will be emailed directly to the hospital.
