MEDIFIED-ohjelmiston psyko- ja lyhytterapeuttilähtöinen arviointi ja kehitys

Abstract

Opinnäytetyö on tehty yhdessä Medified Solutions Oy:n kanssa. Yritys tarjoaa mielenterveyshoitoa tehostavan, innovatiivisen ja potilaskeskeisen, CE-merkityn ohjelmiston hoidonseurantaan ammattilaisille, ja ilmaisen mobiilisovelluksen oman mielialan seuraamiseen mielenterveyskuntoutujille tai oman mielensä hyvinvoinnista kiinnostuneille. Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena ja tavoitteena oli MEDIFIED-ohjelmiston psyko- ja lyhytterapeuttilähtöinen arviointi ja kehittäminen. Kohderyhmäksi valikoitui kyseinen ammattiryhmä, koska heidän keskuudessaan ei vastaavaa kyselyä tai tutkimusta ole vielä tehty Medifiedin toimesta.

Kyseessä on laadullinen tutkimus. Ensin suoritettiin verkkokysely, jonka avulla löydettiin haastateltavat terapeutit. Verkkokyselyyn vastauksia saatiin 38 kappaletta. Ohjelmisto esiteltiin viidelle psyko- ja lyhytterapeutille ja samassa toteutettiin avoin teemahaastattelu. Näin kerättiin aineisto, josta aineistolähtöisen sisällönanalyysin avulla saatiin johdettua ohjelmistoa koskevat kehitysideat.

Kyselyn pääasiallisenatarkoituksena oli haastateltavien löytäminen, joten opinnäytetyö ei keskity kyselyn tulosten analysointiin. Kyselyn tulokset käytiin läpi työelämän toimijan edustajan kanssa, joten yritys pääsi halutessaan hyödyntämään kyselyn tuloksia. Haastatteluista kerättyaineisto analysoitiin, ja analyysinkautta saatiin johdettua kuusi kehitysideoiden pääluokkaa, termistö, testit, visuaalisuus, grafiikka, asetukset ja lisätoiminnot. Oli tärkeää huomata, että kyseessä olivat kuitenkin nimenomaan kehitysideat, eli käytön estäviä haasteita ei ohjelmiston käytettävyydestä noussut.

The purpose and aim were the psycho- and short-therapist-based evaluation and development of the MEDIFIED software. This is a qualitative study. First, an online survey was conducted to find the therapists to be interviewed. The software was presented to a selected sample of psycho- and short-therapists whilst performing an open thematic interview. The development ideas for the software were obtained from the material with the help of material-based content analysis.

The main purpose of the survey was to find interviewees, so the thesis does not focus on analyzing the results of the survey. The data collected from the interviews were analyzed, and six main categories of development ideas, terminology, tests, visuals, graphics, settings and additional functions were derived from the analysis. The features which the interviewees found particularly useful are also presented in the results. The theoretical framework can be found in the customeroriented development and usability of the software.

The interviewees were excited to come up with new ideas for software development. It was important to note, however, that these were development ideas, that is, the challenges that prevented usage did not arise from the usability of the software.
