Vastuutyöntekijä kotihoidossa asiakkaan näkökulmasta

Abstract

Opinnäytetyön aiheena oli vastuutyöntekijä kotihoidossa asiakkaan näkökulmasta. Tällä hetkellä koko yhteiskunnassa on menossa väestönmuutos, suuret sodanajan jälkipolvet ovat jäämässä eläkkeelle. Tämä tuottaa yhteiskunnallemme monenlaista muutosta, kuten ikäihmisten huomiointi. Siihen asiaan on puututtu siten, että on valmisteltu ikäihmisiä koskeva Vanhuspalvelulaki. Tähän lakiin perustuu vastuutyöntekijämalli.

Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli selvittää kotihoidon asiakkaiden kokemuksia vastuutyöntekijän työskentelystä ja tietävätkö asiakkaat, mitä heidän vastuutyöntekijänsä tekevät ja keitä he ovat. Tutkimusmenetelmänä käytettiin teemahaastattelua teoriatiedon lisäksi. Tutkimusympäristön kohteena olivat Noormarkun kotihoito ja heidän asiakkaansa.

Haastatteluista selvisi selkeästi tulokset, joita hain. Tulokset jakautuvat melko selkeästi, puolet haastateltavista kotihoidon asiakkaista kertoivat heille määritellystä vas-tuutyöntekijästä. Lopuilla haastateltavista kotihoidon asiakkaista ei ollut tietoakaan mikä on vastuutyöntekijä. Myös vastuutyöntekijän toimenkuva oli epäselvää osalle kotihoidon asiakkaista

The topic of this thesis was the responsible career at home cares from the customer's point of view. At the moment, the whole of society is going through a change in the population, as the large wartime generations are retiring. This creates a change in our society, such as taking into account the recognition of older people’s needs. The issue is being addressed in a way that the elderly people’s service law has been prepared. The law is based on responsible career’s role.

The thesis’ intension was to find out the experiences of home health care customers from responsible career and whether the customers knowledge what their responsible careers’ do and who they are. In the research methodology the theme theory method was used in addition to theory knowledge. The location environment for the research study was Noormarkku home care and their customers.

The interviews revealed clearly the results which were looked for. The research results divided distinctively, half of the interviewees from home care clients were able to talk about their responsible career and the remaining part of the interviewees had no trace of knowledge what is the responsible career. Moreover, the responsible career’s job description was unclear for some of home care clients.
