Käyttöohje ja muu tekninen dokumentointi

Abstract

Opinnäytetyössä laadittiin Lemtapes Oy:n liimalangan lämmittimelle, Lemtapes application system -käyttöohje. Aihe syntyi, jotta laite saataisiin markkinoille. Opinnäytetyössä tuotetut dokumentit ovat vaadittuja Euroopan unionin alueelle myyntiin tai jakeluun tuleville laitteille. Työn päätavoitteena oli tehdä selkeä ja käyttäjäystävällinen käyttöohje. Työ sisälsi myös EU-vaatimustenmukaisuusvakuutuksen ja teknisen tiedoston.

Opinnäytetyössä käsitellään teoriaa vanerin saumauksesta, LAS-laitteen toimintaa, käyttöohjeiden ja muun dokumentoinnin kirjoitusprosessin vaiheet sekä niihin vaikuttavia seikokkoja. Se pitää sisällään myös käyttöohjeen sisällysluettelon. Muuta dokumentointia ei ole liitetty yksityisyyssyistä.

Työn eri vaiheessa korostui dokumentoinnin tärkeys markkinoille tuonnin lisäksi laitteen turvallisuuteen ja kestävyyteen. Työssä tuli ilmi, että turvallisuuden kannalta riskianalyysi oli tärkein käyttäjää ajatellen. Riskianalyysi kannattaa tehdä monitahoisella työryhmällä ja jatkuvasti laitteen elinkaaren aikana.

In this thesis, an instruction manual was prepared for Lemtapes Oy's Lemtapes application system (LAS) device. The target was to create an instruction manual in order to enable the market launch of the device. The documents which were produced as a part this thesis are required to be available before the equipment could be sold or distributed in the European Union. The aim of the work was to make a clear and user-friendly user manual. The work also included a European certificate of conformity and a technical file.

The thesis covers the theory of plywood seaming, the operation of the LAS device, the stages of the writing process for instructions for user manual and other documentation, as well as the factors affecting to them. It also contains a table of contents for instruction manual. Other documentation is not attached here due to confidentiality reasons.

At different stages of the thesis, the importance of documentation was emphasized not only for order to enable the market launch of the device but also for the safety and durability of the device. The work revealed that from a safety point of view, risk analysis was the most important for the user. It is advisable to carry out risk analysis with a multiprofessional working group and continuously improve it during the life cycle of the device.
