Kosteusvaurioiden vaikutus sisäilman laatuun ja eri tutkimusmenetelmien käyttökelpoisuus asuinkerrostalon kosteusvaurioiden yhteydessä

Abstract

Tämän insinöörityön tarkoituksena oli kartoittaa tyypillisen asuinkerrostalon kosteusvaurioriskit, selvittää ne keinot, joilla riskeihin voidaan varautua etukäteen sekä selvittää vaihtoehtoiset korjausmenetelmät. Työhön liittyi myös kenttätutkimusvaihe, jossa kerrostalossa olevaan huoneistoon aiheutettiin kosteusvaurio ja monitoroitiin vaurion vaikutusta sisäilman laatuun. Kosteusvaurion paikallistamisessa käytettiin erilaisia, tällä hetkellä käytössä olevia menetelmiä. Käytetyillä menetelmillä pystyttiin seuraamaan kosteusvaurion kehittymistä rakenteissa. Analysoimalla materiaalien ja sisäilman mikrobinäytteet saadaan varmuus siitä, onko rakennuksessa homevaurio.

This final year project dealt with the typical moisture damages that occur in blocks of flats. The purpose of the project was to map out the most typical reasons for moisture damages in blocks of flats. Another purpose was to find out the ways to protect against those reasons and to find out alternative ways to repair different kinds of moisture damages. The project included field examination, in which moisture damage was caused and the effects of the damage on the indoor air quality were examined. For locating the moisture damages different kinds of methods were used. With the methods used in this project one could measure the progress of the moisture damages in the structures. By analysing the microbe samples of the materials and the indoor air the mould problems can be confirmed.
