Nowadays, the topic of digitalization is omnipresent and affects almost every organization that is operating in business environments. Depending on the de-gree to which organizations can keep up with digital changes, processes and strategies are constantly developed and adjusted in order to stay competitive with others, creating high pressure on management level. Therefore, it is cru-cial for organizations to understand current trends and needs of digitalization, and to be able to make use of both people and technology; change the way of working and using software; and creating a common digital mindset so that change management within digital transformation can happen seamlessly. At the same time, organizations need to take into consideration the huge challen-ges that digitalization can bring. This thesis defines success factors of digitali-zation within the management of processes, digital leadership and corporate culture that need to be achieved in order to be positioned as a competitive, di-gitally advanced organization. Furthermore, it sheds light on a certain IT rec-ruitment agency in Germany and analyzes its current state of realizing those success factors with the help of a qualitative research approach. Based on the findings, it elaborates optimization proposals that support meeting essential success factors in the digitalization of business processes.
