Moniorganisaatiollisen projektin johtaminen

Abstract

Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli selvittää kirjoittamisprojektin hallintaa ja johtamista sekä projektin yhteydessä käytettyjä työkaluja. Työkaluihin ja projektin organisointiin kiinnitettiin opinnäytetyössä erityistä huomiota, sillä koko projekti toteutettiin jo vuonna 2016 poikkeuksellisesti etänä.

Case-esimerkkinä toimi moniorganisaatiollinen kirjoitusprojekti. Verke oli projektin kokoava taho, ja projektinjohtaja oli Verkellä töissä. Projektin kirjoitustiimi koostui useamman eri organisaation työntekijöistä, ja koko kirjoitusprosessi tehtiin

Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli kuvata malli moniorganisaatiollisen projektin johtamiseen. Tarkoituksena oli myös selvittää sopivat digitaaliset työkalut tämän kaltaisen projektin johtamisen avuksi. Opinnäytetyössä käydään läpi projektin taustat ja tarpeet. Projektin tarpeiden pohjalta ja mukana olleilta kirjoittajilta syntyi moniorganisaatiollinen malli, joka asetti spesifejä vaatimuksia erilaisille työkaluille. Osa vaatimuksista oli teknisiä ja osa henkilölähtöisiä. Projektissa käytetyt työkalut määräytyivät näiden vaatimusten mukaan.

Opinnäytetyössä esitellään, pohditaan ja perustellaan tärkeimpiä käytäntöjä ja työkaluja projektinhallinnassa. Projektin johtamisen keinoja esitellään tarkemmin projektinhallintaosiossa.

The purpose of the thesis is to portray a model of leading a multiorganizational project. Thesis also clarifies suitable tools to help managing this sort of a project. Another goal for this thesis is to report tools, management, and leadership of a writing project. Especial focus is on the tools because the project was executed in 2016 unusually as remote work.

The example case was a multiorganizational writing project. Verke was the assembling party of the project. As the writing team of the project consisted of employees from many different organizations, the whole writing process was done remotely.

The background and demands of the project are presented in the beginning of the thesis. The multiorganizational model originated from these demands and the participating writers. The structure of the project set specific requirements for different tools. Some of the requirements were technical in nature and some were person centred.

Thesis introduces, speculates and rationalises the most important practices and tools for the management of the project. Project management has its own part in the thesis, where project leadership is represented more thoroughly.
