Digitalisaatio koiraharrastuksessa: verkkopohjaisten koulutusten asiakaskokemus

Abstract

Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli tutkia verkossa järjestettävien koirankoulutuskurssien asiakaskokemusta ja sen muodostumiseen vaikuttavia tekijöitä. Palvelun yleistyttyä viime vuosina, oli tutkimuksen tarkoituksena tarjota sekä harrastajille että palveluntarjoajille tietoa suomalaisen verkkokoulutuksen laadusta ja sen asiakaskokemuksen muodostumisesta.

Opinnäytetyön tutkimusosa toteutettiin kvantitatiivisena eli määrällisenä tutkimuksena, ja aineisto kerättiin strukturoidulla lomakkeella internetissä. Tutkimuksen kohderyhmänä olivat suomalaiset verkkokursseille osallistuneet koiraharrastajat.

Tutkimuksen lopputulemana voidaan todeta, että suomalaiset koiraharrastajat ovat verkkokoulutuksiin melko tyytyväisiä. Kokemus yksilöllisyydestä ja mahdollisuudesta vuorovaikutukseen kouluttajan kanssa vaikuttavat asiakaskokemukseen oleellisesti. Asiakaskokemusta vaarantaviksi tekijöiksi koettiin tekniset haasteet, koulutuksen rakenteen epäselkeys ja kouluttajan puutteelliset esiintymistaidot. Lisäksi konkreettisen vertaisryhmän puuttumisen koettiin vaikuttavan motivaatioon heikentävästi.

The purpose of this study was to examine the customer experience of online dog training courses and the factors affecting it. As the service has become more common during the recent years, the purpose of this study was to provide information not only to service providers but also to dog trainers about the quality of Finnish online dog training courses, their customer experience, and the factors affecting it.

The research section of this thesis was carried out as a quantitative study, and the data were collected with a structured questionnaire on the internet. The target group of the research were dog trainers who have previously attended Finnish online dog training courses.

As an outcome of this research, it can be stated that Finnish dog trainers are quite satisfied with online dog training courses in general. The experience of individuality and the opportunity to interact with the lecturer had a significant impact on the customer experience. Technical challenges, deficiencies in the structure of the course, and the lecturer's lack of skills in performing were perceived as the key factors endangering the customer experience. Also, the lack of a concrete peer group was found to have a debilitating effect on motivation.
