Pienyrityksen tietojärjestelmän uusiminen

Abstract

Työn tavoitteena oli tehdä suunnitelma hankittavista laitteista ja ohjelmistoista, jonka päälle tultaisiin rakentamaan kohdeyrityksen uusi tietojärjestelmä. Lisäksi suunnitelmassa uusitaan yrityksen tietoverkko. Tarkoituksena olisi saada aikaan järjestelmä joka on toimiva, muunneltava ja helppokäyttöinen sekä vikasietoinen. Teoreettinen tausta koostui tietojärjestelmiä ja tietoturvallisuutta käsittelevistä teoksista. Nämä auttoivat kehittämään suunnitelman tietojärjestelmän uusimiseksi. Lopputyön tuloksena saatiin suunnitelma jonka pohjalta voidaan alkaa rakentamaan yrityksen tarpeisiin riittävä uusi tietojärjestelmä, jota on helppo laajentaa tarvittaessa. Jatkotoimenpiteenä tulee olemaan suunnitelma tekeminen yrityksen tulevan tietojärjestelmän laitteiden ja ohjelmistojen asennuksesta ja käyttöönotosta.

The purpose of the work was to make a plan of new equipment. This was needed for a new information system for a company in field of mechanical industry. In addition their information network will be rebuilt to better meet their needs. The aim was to create a plan for a system that is functional, convertible, easy to use and fault-tolerant. Theoretical background consisted of literal source about the basics of information systems and security. This knowledge contributed to the process of creating the plan. The result of this thesis was a plan to build a new information system that is sufficient for the needs of the company and can be easily expanded when needed. In the future the plan will potentially extend to cover the installation and implementation of the equipment itemized in this work.
