Kulunvalvonnan tehostaminen rakennustyömaalla

Abstract

Tämä opinnäytetyö toteutettiin toimeksiantona YIT Oyj:lle. Opinnäytetyössä tutkittiin rakennustyömaiden kulunvalvontaa ja miten sitä voitaisiin tehostaa. Opinnäytetyössä käytettiin tiedonkeruuseen kahta YIT:n Tampereen seudun työmaata. Em. työmaiden henkilöstöltä kerättiin tietoa ja kehitysideoita kulunvalvonnan tehostamiseen. Opinnäytetyössä kartoitettiin, millaiset ratkaisut kohdetyömailla oli käytössä ja perehdyttiin kulunvalvontajärjestelmän toimivuuteen.

Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli tuottaa toimeksiantajalle kattava tutkimus kulunvalvonnan tehostamisesta. Opinnäytetyössä tehtiin haastattelututkimus, jolla saatiin tietoa kulunvalvonnan nykytilasta ja kehitystarpeista. Tutkimuksessa haastateltiin kymmentä rakennusalan henkilöä, henkilöt jaettiin kahteen ryhmään: toimihenkilöihin ja työntekijöihin. Keskiössä oli myös kahden työmaan omat kulunvalvonnalliset ratkaisut ja niiden heijastaminen saatuihin haastatteluvastauksiin. Haastattelut suoritettiin osittain työmailla ja puhelimessa.

Lopputuloksena saatiin muodostettua käsitys työmaiden kulunvalvonnan nykytilasta ja kehityskohteista. Opinnäytetyössä laadittiin kehitysratkaisut tutkittavien työmaiden kulunvalvonnan tehostamiseksi. Haastattelututkimuksen tulosten perusteella suurimmat ongelmat liittyivät työmaiden alueiden aitauksiin ja työmaiden sisäänkäyntien helppokulkuisuuteen. Haastateltavat henkilöt nostivat esille mm. leimauslaitteiden huonon sijoittelun ja vähäisen määrän.

This thesis has been conducted as a commission for YIT Corporation. Our task was to investigate access control systems at construction sites and how to improve their efficiency. The study focused on two construction sites in the Tampere region owned by YIT. Information and development ideas regarding access control were gathered from the personnel at these sites. The thesis provides an overview of the solutions currently in use at the construction sites and explores the functionality of the access control system.

The aim was to provide the client with comprehensive research on improving access control. This thesis conducted an interview-based study to gather information on the current state and development needs. Ten individuals working in the construction industry were interviewed, and they were divided into two groups: office personnel and workers. We compared the responses between the two groups. The focus was also on the access control solutions implemented at the two sites and how they reflected in the interview responses. Interviews were conducted partly on-site and partly over the phone. Some interviewees were provided with the questions in advance.

The outcome provided an understanding of the current state and problem areas at the construction sites. We formulated development solutions tailored to the researched sites. The main issues identified were related to site boundaries and accessibility. Interviewees highlighted poor placement of access devices and a lack of an adequate number of devices.
