Simulaatio ikääntyneen ravitsemuksesta kotihoidossa

Abstract

Opinnäytetyömme aiheena on perehtyä ikääntyneen ravitsemukseen ja simulaation toteutukseen.

Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena on tuottaa tutkittuun tietoon perustuen ikääntyvien hoitotyöhön sopiva simulaatio skenaario. Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena on edistää sairaanhoitajaopiskelijoiden tietämystä ikääntyneen ravitsemukseen liittyvistä tekijöistä simulaation avulla.

Opinnäytetyömme toteutettiin erilaisia tutkimuksia ja teoriatietoa hyödyntäen. Pidimme opinnäytetyön tilaajan kanssa palaverin, jossa keskustelimme millaisia toiveita hänellä, on simulaatioskenaarion suhteen. Pyrimme tekemään näiden pohjalta toimivan simulaatioskenaarion ensimmäisen vuoden sairaanhoitajaopiskelijoille.

Kohderyhmänämme toimii opinnäytetyössä ensimmäisen lukuvuoden sairaanhoitajaopiskelijat Satakunnan ammattikorkeakoulusta. Simulaatio toteutetaan hoitotyön opettajien ohjaamana.

Pyysimme opinnäytetyöstämme arvioinnin tilaajataholtamme sekä sen lisäksi palautetta ohjaavilta opettajiltamme. Kävimme opinnäytetyötä yhdessä läpi ohjaavien opettajien kanssa työn valmistuttua.

The topic of our thesis is to delve into elderly nutrition and the implementation of simulation.

The aim of the thesis is to create a simulation scenario for elderly nursing based on researched information. The purpose is to enhance nursing students’ knowledge about factors related to elderly nutrition through simulation.

Our thesis was conducted by utilizing various studies and theoretical knowledge. We had a meeting with the client for our thesis, where we discussed their preferences for the simulation scenario. Based on this, we aimed to create a functional simulation scenario for first-year nursing students.

Our target group for the thesis consists of first-year nursing students from Satakunta University of Applied Sciences. The simulation will be conducted under the guidance of nursing teachers.

We requested an evaluation of our thesis from the client and received feedback from our guiding instructors as well. After completing the thesis, we went through it together with our guiding teachers.
