Tilaus-toimitusprosessin kehittäminen Sonet-toiminnanohjausjärjestelmässä

Abstract

Tämä opinnäytetyö tehtiin Kavika Oy:lle toiminnanohjausjärjestelmän kehittämiseksi tilaus – toimitusprosessin osalta. Työn tarkoituksena on tutkia millä tavalla yrityksessä toiminnanohjausjärjestelmää käytetään, ja onko sitä mahdollista käyttää tehokkaammin. Toissijaisena tavoitteena on tutkia, olisiko läpimenoaikaa mahdollista parantaa toiminnanohjausjärjestelmän tuella. Tutkimuksessa otetaan huomioon myös nykyisen järjestelmän soveltuvuus tulevaisuuden haasteisiin sekä mahdolliseen yrityksen laajenemiseen.

Aluksi työssä käydään läpi liiketoimintaprosesseja, jotka liittyvät läheisesti toiminnanohjaukseen kirjallisuuden perusteella. Teoriaosuudessa käsitellään myös tilaus – toimitusketjua sekä toiminnanohjausjärjestelmiä. Teorian tueksi tehtiin teemahaastatteluita, joissa haastateltiin avainhenkilöitä tilaus – toimitusketjun kannalta. Empiirisessä osassa käsitellään työn tilaavan yrityksen toiminnanohjausjärjestelmän käyttötapoja ja niiden kehittämistä.

Työssä syvennytään toiminnanohjauksen toimintaan nykyisellä Sonet – tietojärjestelmällä. Haastatteluiden, omien havaintojen sekä teorian pohjalta huomattiin, että tietojärjestelmää voitaisiin hyödyntää huomattavasti tehokkaamminkin. Ehdotettavat toimenpiteet ovat yksinkertaisimmillaan työtapoihin liittyviä toimintatapoja. Oleellisimpana asiana tuli esiin tuotannonsuunnittelu – moduulin puuttuminen järjestelmästä, jolla voitaisiin hallita tuotantoa huomattavasti tehokkaammin.

Tutkimuksessa käydään läpi myös uuden tietojärjestelmän hankintamahdollisuutta. Loppupäätelmänä todettiin, että uusi ERP on suuri riski pk – yritykselle. Liitteenä on riskianalyysilomake uuden järjestelmän hankintaan.

The aim for this thesis is to examine how the ERP – system is being used at Kavika Oy. Kavika uses Sonet – ERP, provided by CGI. Main aim is to examine how the staff uses ERP and is there a possibility to use it in a more effective way. Another aim is to examine if there is a possibility to improve lead time with the help of the ERP. It will also be examined in the thesis how feasible the current system is related to future challenges and the possible expansion of the company.

The business processes related closely to the ERP according to literature will be introduced in the beginning of the thesis. Both the supply chain and the ERP will be covered in the theory part. The ERP key persons were interviewed to support the theory part. The usage and development of this particular ERP in this company will be addressed in the empiric part.

The current ERP functions within Sonet system will be handled. It was noticed based on the interviews, own observations and theory that the current system could be used in a more effective way. The suggested new procedures can be as simple as changing the ways of working. The most essential finding was that the system is lacking a productivity planning module. With the help of this module the production could be managed more effectively.

The possibility of getting a new ERP system will be reviewed in the study too. The final conclusion was that a new ERP system is a big risk for a small company. Attached a risk analysis form for getting a new system.
