The main aim of this thesis was to create a business plan for setting an international hotel in Cameroon, to describe all the distinct phases with regards to becoming an entrepreneur. The purpose of this thesis was to collect some information or materials on how to establish a new business. Explanations of the different types of company forms, and legislative, financial information regarding opening a new business in Cameroon.
The theoretical part of this thesis focused on explaining what a business plan is all about. It also explains the various steps that are needed for one to become an entrepreneur and will go further to dive into the different steps that one is required to undertake when planning to establish a new business. Also, this thesis looks at what it required to open a new business in Cameroon.
In the practical part, this thesis will focus on the actual business plan for the international hotel in Cameroon and what the new business is all about.
In conclusion, the result of this thesis was a business plan for setting up of an international hotel in Cameroon. Qualitative research was carried out to find information about business planning from books and business websites to build up a good business plan for the new business. However, to start a new business as an entrepreneur in Cameroon is not always easy due to the bureaucracy and administrative procedures. With a good business plan one can overcome all these challenges.
