Rakennusliikkeen toiminnan tehostaminen toiminnanohjausjärjestelmän avulla

Abstract

Tässä opinnäytetyössä toteutettiin Betonirakenne Mattila Oy:lle laadullisena tutkimuksena jatkokehitystoimenpiteet järjestelmien kehitykseen. Näillä toimenpiteillä yritys pystyy kehittää nykyistä toiminnanohjausjärjestelmän käyttöä, dokumenttien hallintaa, projektien aikataulutusta ja projektien tarjouslaskentaa sovellusohjelmistoja hyödyntämällä.

Yrityksen lähtötilanne selvitettiin haastattelemalla yrityksen henkilöstöä. Haastatteluista selvisi, että yritys ei ollut ottanut nykyisen toiminnanohjausjärjestelmän kaikkia toimintoja tehokkaaseen käyttöön. Tämän lisäksi yrityksessä ei ollut selkeää dokumenttien hallintajärjestelmää eikä ohjelmistoja, joilla yritys pystyisi tarjouslaskemaan ja aikatauluttamaan projekteja tarkasti.

Työssä tutkittiin, millaisia toimenpiteitä yrityksen pitää tehdä, jotta yritys pääsee haluttuun lopputulokseen edellä mainittujen asioiden osalta. Haluttuja lopputuloksia oli, että toiminnanohjausjärjestelmä saadaan tehokkaaseen käyttöön yrityksessä, dokumenttien hallintaan selvitetään mahdollisuudet eri vaihtoehdoille ja tarjouslaskentaan kehitetään laskentaohjelmisto. Toisena vaihtoehtona laskenta ohjelmistolle tutkitaan, mikä ohjelmisto yrityksen kannattaisi ottaa käyttöön, jos yrityksessä ei lähdetä itse kehittämään omaa laskentaohjelmistoa. Tämän lisäksi työssä käsitellään, miten yritys pystyisi kehittämään projektien aikataulutusta.

Jatkokehitystoimenpiteinä yritys voi jatkossa kehittää toiminnanohjausjärjestelmää, dokumenttien hallintaa, projektien aikataulutusta ja projektien tarjouslaskentaa entisestään. Opinnäytetyössä käsitellään näitä asioita, joten työ muodostaa kokonaisvaltaisen ymmärryksen yrityksen liiketoiminnasta ja järjestelmistä mitä yrityksellä on käytössä.

In this thesis, a qualitative study was conducted for Betonirakenne Mattila Oy to develop enhancement measures for their systems. These measures will enable the company to enhance the current use of their enterprise resource planning system, document management, project scheduling and project tender calculation using application software.

The starting point of the company was determined by interviewing the company’s staff. The interviews revealed that the company had not fully utilized all the functions of the current enterprise resource planning system effectively. Additionally, there were no clear documentation management system or tools available to accurately estimate project costs and project schedule.

The study explored the actions the company needs to take to achieve the desired outcomes in the aforementioned areas. The desired outcomes included the efficient use of the enterprise resource planning systems within the company, exploring different options for document management and developing tender calculation software. As an alternative to company developing own tender calculation software, the study also showed which software the company should adopt if they decide not to develop their own tender calculation software. Furthermore, the study showed how the company could improve project scheduling using software’s.

As further development measures, the company can continue to enhance their enterprise resource planning system, documentation management, project scheduling and project tender calculation. The thesis discussed these issues, providing a comprehensive understanding of the company’s business operations and the systems currently in use.
