5s-järjestelmän suunnittelu ja käyttöönotto

Abstract

Tämä opinnäytetyö on toteutettu Nordic Aluminium Oyj:n toimeksiannosta. Työn tavoitteena oli ottaa käyttöön tuotantotilojen siisteyden ja järjestyksen systemaattiseen ylläpitoon ja kehittämiseen luotu alkujaan Japanilainen 5S filosofia. Sen avulla oli tarkoitus pyrkiä lisäämään toiminnan tuottavuutta ja laatua sekä parantaa työturvallisuuden tasoa.

5S-järjestelmän käyttöönoton lisäksi oli tarkoitus kehittää seurantamenetelmä, jonka avulla järjestelmän toimintaa on mahdollista tarkkailla sekä havaintojen perusteella suorittaa kehitystoimintaa.

Työn teoria osassa esitellään TPM:n, eli kokonaisvaltaisesti tuottavan kunnossapidon pääperiaatteet ja käyttöönoton eri vaiheet sekä 5S-järjestelmän periaatteet ja käyttöönotto

Työn käytännön osion toteutus koostui Nordic Aluminium Oyj:n Nivalan yksikön huoltomiesten varasto- ja työskentelytilan eli huoltotilan uudelleenjärjestelystä 5S-menetelmän perusidean mukaisesti.

This thesis is realized on an assignment of Nordic Aluminium Plc. This works objective was to introduce a Japanese 5S method which is a procedure for maintaining and developing the state of cleanness and orderliness in the production unit. By means of this method it was intended to increase the productivity, quality of products and actions and to improve the safety at work.

Except the introduction of 5S method, it was also intended to develop a follow-up application which would make it possible to observe the action of the system and on the basis of these observances to carry out development of the system.

In the theory part of this thesis is presented the maintenance process know by the name TPM in other words Total Productive Maintenance. The main principles and different stages of introduction are presented. In addition, the main principles of SS system are being explained and also the five different stages of introduction are presented.

The practical part of this thesis is concentrated on Nordic Aluminium Plc plant in Nivala. The aim of this practice was to reorganize the caretakers' storage and working room. The reorganization was meant to be handled by the principles of the 5S system.
