Taloteknisten tietomallien hyödyntäminen työmaakäytössä

Abstract

Insinöörityö käsittelee taloteknisten tietomallien käyttöä ja hyödyntämistä työmaalla. Työssä tarkastellaan tietomallinnusprosessin kulkua suunnittelijan kannalta ja esiteltiin haastattelun tulokset tietomallin käytöstä työmaalla. Insinöörityö tehtiin yhteistyössä Granlund Oy:n ja HUS-Kiinteistöt Oy:n kanssa, ja työn referenssikohteena toimi Meilahden potilastorni.

Työn tavoitteena oli selvittää tietomallin käyttöä työmaalla. Työssä tehtiin projektin eri osapuolille kysely, jonka perusteella saatiin yleinen käsitys tietomallien käytöstä. Kysely oli suunnattu urakoitsijoille, suunnittelijoille ja tilaajalle jokaiselle ryhmälle erikseen.

Kyselyn perusteella selvisi, että tietomalli koetaan hyödylliseksi ja sitä halutaan käyttää, aina suunnittelijoiden yhteensovituksesta, rakennustyömaan asennusjärjestyksen tekoon, kuin myös rakennuksen valmistuttua ylläpidollisiin tehtäviin.

Tietomalli on tulevaisuutta, ja on hyvä asia, että se koetaan hyödylliseksi. Tällä tavoin sitä käytetään yhä enemmän ja tietomallin käytön toimintatavat hioutuvat paremmiksi nopeammin.

The purpose of this Bachelor’s thesis was to figure out how the building information model (BIM), a tool ever more important, could be used on a construction site. In addition, the thesis described the design process from a designer’s point of view.

The material for the thesis was gathered with an Internet survey targeted at the parties of the construction site. The results of the survey, together with some interviews, gave this thesis a good basis. The description of the design process revealed a couple of faults in the process which can now be seen to.

The survey proved that the majority of people were pleased to use the building information model, and found it to be useful. With this thesis, contractors and customers understand the designer’s point of view better, and this helps projects to proceed smoothly. Furthermore, the whole design process was improved with this Bachelor’s thesis.
