Kehittämiskohteena yhteistyö : -moniammatillisen yhteistyön toimintamalli varhaiskasvatuksen ja lastensuojelun välillä

Abstract

Opinnäytetyöni oli kehittämistyö, jossa on sekä tutkimuksellinen että toiminnallinen osio. Se toteutettiin LasSe-hankkeelle syksyn ja kevään 2014–2015 aikana. Kehittämistyön tarkoituksena oli kehittää moniammatillisen yhteistyön toimintamalli varhaiskasvatuksen ja lastensuojelun välille, lastensuojelutarpeen selvityksen alkuvaihetta korostaen. Kehittämistyö toteutettiin kahdessa osassa. Työn ensimmäinen osa oli laadullinen tutkimus, jonka aineiston keruumenetelmänä oli Päijät-Hämeen varhaiskasvatuksen henkilöstölle suunnattu kysely. Kyselyssä oli sekä monivalintakysymyksiä että avoimia kysymyksiä, ja siinä kysyttiin henkilöstön kokemuksia ja toiveita yhteistyöstä lasten-suojelun kanssa. Kysely analysoitiin sisällönanalyysin avulla, ja tulokset esiteltiin luokittelua ja teemoittelua apuna käyttäen. Työn toinen osa oli työpajatyöskentely, jossa varhaiskasvatuksen ja lastensuojelun esimiehet ja päälliköt case-perhettä ja kyselyn analyysia hyväksi käyttäen rakensivat yhteistyön toimintamallin. Varhaiskasvatuksen työntekijät kokivat yhteistyön lastensuojelun kanssa hyväksi silloin, kun he saivat tietoa yhteisistä asiakkaista ja kun heidät kutsuttiin koolle suunnit-telemaan asiakasperheiden auttamispolkua. Suurin yhteistyön este oli avoimuuden puute. Työntekijät kokivat, etteivät he tiedä, mitä lastensuojelussa tapahtuu perheen kohdalla sen jälkeen, kun he ovat tehneet lastensuojeluilmoituksen. He myös toivat esille, etteivät he aina tiedä onko perheellä lastensuojelun asiakkuus vaikka tiedosta olisi heille hyötyä perheen kanssa työskentelyyn. Työntekijät toivoivat kehitettävän selkeän, yksinkertaisen yhteistyön toimintamallin, josta ilmenisi seuraavat asiat: millaisissa tilanteissa ja kehen työntekijään lastensuojelun puolelta ollaan yhteydessä, miten yhteistyön aloituspalaveri järjestetään sekä mikä on varhaiskasvatuksen ja lasten-suojelun työkenttä erilaisissa tilanteissa. Työpajojen tuloksena kehitettiin yhteistyön toimintamalli varhaiskasvatuksen ja lastensuojelun välille. Moniammatillinen yhteistyö helpottaa varhaiskasvatuksen ja lastensuojelun työtä, sekä auttaa asiakasta tavoitteiden saavuttamisessa ja tilanteen helpottamisessa. Yhteistyö vähentää tiedonkulun ongelmia eri organisaatioiden välillä, nopeuttaa asioiden hoitamista asiakkaan kannalta ja herättää asiakkaalla luottamusta viranomaistahoja kohtaan.

The study was a research- development which was carried out by LasSe project during the autumn and spring 2014 - 2015. The purpose of the development was to create a model of multi-professional co-operation between early childhood education and child protection, emphasizing the need for a child protection report on the first phase of. The research development was carried out in two parts work. The first part was a qual-itative research the data collection method was an inquiry to Lahti Region of early childhood education staff. The survey included a multiple choice questionnaire and open questions. The experiences and expectations of the staff were asked concerning the co-operation with the child protection. The questionnaire was analyzed using a content analysis and the results were presented by using the classification and themat-ic analysis. The second part was the workshops where early childhood education and child protection supervisors and managers built a co-operating model by using the case-family and the analysis of the survey. Early childhood workers experienced the co-operation with the child protection suc-cessful when they received information on common clients and when they were invit-ed to plan the way of helping paths of the client families. The biggest obstacle to co-operation was the lack of transparency. The employees experienced that they did not know how the child protection takes place in the family after they have made a child welfare report. They also made out the point that they do not always know whether the family is a child protection client at all even if the information would be useful for them to work with the family. The employees wanted a clear, simple co- operation model which should include the followings: in what kind of situations to contact and to whom (from the child protection team), and how to organize the launch meeting, as well as what is the scope of the work of early childhood education and child protec-tion in different situations. As a result of workshops it was developed a model of co-operation between the early childhood education and child protection. Multi-professional co-operation will help the early childhood education and child protection work, as well as it will help the cli-ent to achieve the objectives and will help the situation in facilitating. Co-operation will reduce the information problems between different organizations. It will speed things up at the point of view of the client and it will raise the customer´s confidence in the authorities.
