Tiivistelmä
Through a multi-level case study of product-driven global brands (H&M and Patagonia) and a production-driven developing country (Bangladesh), this thesis investigates how circular economy (CE) practices contribute to sustainability in the textile sector. The study shows how CE strategies, such as recycling, product longevity, and eco-innovation, improve resource efficiency and reduce waste, using a qualitative approach and thematic analysis. The results highlight the significance of policy support and consumer awareness by exposing different implementation pathways between multinational brands and manufacturing nations. The study emphasizes how CE can transform the way textiles are produced and consumed, enabling more sustainable production and consumption.
