Laadunhallintajärjestelmä ja CE-merkintä : case Kaune Oy

Abstract

Tässä opinnäytetyössä tutustutaan yritysten laadunvalvontaan, erityisesti FPC-järjestelmiin ja CE-merkintään. Työ on luonteeltaan toiminnallinen, ja perustuu lasi- ja metallialan yritys Kaune Oy:ltä saatuun toimeksiantoon sisäisen laadunhallintajärjestelmän käyttöönotosta sekä rakennustuotteita koskevan EU:n rakennustuoteasetuksen mukaisen CE-merkinnän liittämisestä yrityksen tuotteisiin. Opinnäytetyön teoriaosuudessa perehdytään aluksi yleisellä tasolla laatuun, laadunhallintaan ja laadunhallintajärjestelmiin. Tätä yleistä teoriapohjaa vasten tutustutaan tarkemmin siihen, mitä FPC-järjestelmä ja CE-merkintä ovat, sekä miten nämä kaksi linkittyvät toisiinsa. Työn käytännön osuutena laadittiin toimeksiantajayritykselle tuotannon sisäistä laadunvalvontaa koskeva FPC-järjestelmä sekä selvitettiin yrityksen tuotteisiin liittyviä CE-merkinnän vaatimuksia. Työ toteutettiin projektimuotoisena aina järjestelmän suunnittelusta, FPC-järjestelmän käytännön toteutukseen ja kehittämiseen.

This thesis examines company quality management, in particular factory production control systems and CE marking. A CE (from French Conformité Européenne, meaning European Conformity) marking indicates, that a product complies with the requirements set in EU legislation, and is thus allowed to move freely within the European market. The thesis work is operational in nature, and was commissioned by a Finnish glazing and metal company Kaune Oy. The purpose of this thesis was to introduce an internal quality management system to the company and to attach CE marking to its building products. Initially, the theoretical part of the thesis focuses generally on quality, quality management and quality management systems. Then, against this theoretical framework, a closer look is taken on what factory production control systems and CE marking exist, and on how these two are linked to each other. In the practical part of this thesis work, an internal quality control system, or Factory Production Control (FPC) system, was drawn up, and the requirements of CE marking related to the company’s products were clarified. The quality management project entailed the planning of the quality management system, and the practical implementation and development of the FPC system.
