LED-lamppujen vaikutukset sähkön laatuun

Abstract

Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli tutkia hehkulampun korvaavia E27-kantaisia LED-lamppuja sekä niiden aiheuttamia vaikutuksia sähkön laatua ajatellen. Lisäksi selvitettiin, millaisia vaikutuksia LED-lampuille soveltuvilla himmentimillä on sähkön laatuun. Mittausten valmistuttua osa lampuista myös purettiin niiden rakenteen sekä lamppujen välisten erojen selvittämiseksi.

Mittausten perusteella todettiin, että LED-lamput aiheuttavat yliaaltoja ja loistehoa syöttävään sähköverkkoon ja himmentimet lisäävät häiriöiden määrää entisestään. Nämä häiriöt eivät kuitenkaan vielä aiheuta ongelmia LED-lamppujen tavallisessa kotitalouskäytössä. Koska LED-lamppujen käyttö lisääntyy, tulevaisuudessa sähköverkon häiriöiden suodatuksen tarve saattaa kasvaa, mikäli lamppukohtainen häiriöiden suodatus ei tule valmistajille pakolliseksi.

The purpose of this thesis was to study LED light bulbs with an E27 socket replacing the old incandescent light bulbs and also to study the effects on the power quality caused by them. The effects on the power quality caused by LED compatible dimmers were also studied. After the measurements were completed, a proportion of the LED light bulbs were dismantled to find out the structure and the differences between them.

LED light bulbs were found to cause harmonics and reactive power to the electrical network and dimmers to increase the amount of the interferences further. These interferences do not cause any problems in a normal domestic use yet. However, in the future when the use of LED light bulbs will grow, the need of filtering of interferences in the electrical network may increase, if the lamp-specific filtering of interferences will not be compulsory for the manufacturers.
