Tiivistelmä
Immersive technology is a growing industry that offers new opportunities for various industries, including tourism. However, findings from the GLOW2.0 project indicate that the adoption of immersive technologies among tourism businesses in Finland, Iceland, Ireland and Norway remains relatively limited.
This case study aims to support the adoption of immersive technologies in tourism by offering a basic understanding of tools such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and 360-degree visualisations, illustrated through a real-world example.
