Saksalaisen laatuhyväksynnän hakeminen parkettituotteille : Timberwise Oy

Abstract

Tämä opinnäytetyö käsittelee saksalaisen kansallisen teknisen hyväksynnän abZ hakua loimaalaisen Timberwise Oy:n parkettituotteille. Kyseisen hyväksynnän on luonut saksalainen luokituslaitos Deutches Institut für Bautechnik (lyhennettynä DIBt). Hyväksynnän perusteena oli vaadittujen tuotteiden hyväksytty 28 vuorokautta kestävän emissiotestauksen tulos. DIBt määritti testauksen vaadittavat tuotteet hyväksyntää haettavien tuotteiden, sekä toimitettujen tietojen ja materiaalien perusteella. Timberwisen noin 50 parkettituotteen joukosta DIBt valitsi kaksi tuotetta jotka tuli testata; saarnipintainen Antarctis lakattu -parketti ja lehtikuusipintainen Eben öljyvahattu. Näiden kahden tuotteen hyväksytty emissiotestaustulos tarkoitti koko tuotevalikoiman teknistä hyväksyntää pois lukien lämpökäsitellyt tuotteet, joille hyväksyntää tämän projektin yhteydessä ei haettu. Hyväksynnän hankkiminen, selkeähköstä hakuprosessikaavasta huolimatta, osoittautui yllättävän pitkäkestoiseksi. Tähän johtivat tarvittavien tietojen keruun ja sähköpostiviestinnän aikavievyys. Kuitenkin hyväksyntä saatiin Timberwisen tuotteille. Opinnäytetyö käsittelee myös hieman parketin historiaa sekä parkettiteollisuutta Suomessa. Lisäksi opinnäytetyössä perehdytään rakennuspuusepäntuotteista emissoituviin sisäilman epäpuhtauksiin ja niiden vaikutuksia ihmiseen sekä niiden vaikutuksen pienentämisen mahdollisuuksista.

The objective of this Bachelor’s thesis was applying for the German national technical approval abZ for the parquet products of Timberwise Oy. The company is located in Loimaa in Finland. The national technical approval was created by the German Institute for Construction Technology DIBt. Receiving the approval was based on 28-day-long emission testing for required products determined by DIBt. From Timberwise’s about 50 different parquet products, DIBt chose two which were supposed to be tested for receiving the approval. These were ash-surfaced lacquered Antarctis parquet and larch-surfaced oil-waxed Eben parquet. Passing the emission tests with these two products meant getting approval for all Timberwise’s products except for thermotreated products. For these products the approval was not applied for during this project. Despite the quite clear procedure for applying for this approval, the project turned out to be quite time-consuming. This resulted from the time it took to collect data and slowness of email communication. Nevertheless, the national technical approval was granted for the Timberwise products. The thesis also deals with general history of parquet and Finnish parquet technology. The thesis also examines the impurities of indoors air that emit from carpenter products, how these impurities affect people and how they can be reduced.
