The goal of this learning diary-based thesis is to describe and analyse the work activities of the social media marketing manager of Vanhan Paukun Festivaali. My thesis seeks to study and assess my own professional progress as a social media marketing manager over a fourteen-week period. I use my understanding of social media
marketing and communications to analytically think of my own activity. In May–August 2022, I worked on the data of my thesis learning diary for fourteen weeks. The learning diary thesis consists of weekly reporting. A fourteen-week thorough examination of my own work provides a solid foundation for the development and strengthening of my professional identity. Strengthened professional knowledge and skills will increase my confidence in professional solution making and minimise doubt. A thesis in the form of a diary can also serve as interpersonal support for people in the same profession. This thesis provides an overview of the case company and details what it accomplished over the spring and summer. The conclusion of the thesis analyses and examines the marketing findings and customer feedback.
