Android is an open source operating system based on Linux, which is mainly used in mobile devices. The data at end of 2010 shows that Android system has become the world’s largest Smartphone operating system. Furthermore, in the application store, the downloads of game is the largest of all of the application types. According to the situation above, the Android game has large market. The game development is not only about the programming, but also about the art and creation. The concept is the most significant part of the game. It should be clear and easily understood. The objective of this thesis was to state the process of development of a shooting game named Snipe Bob for the Android phone operating system. The project was carried out on Sumsung GT-I8262D with Android version4.1.2. By the time writing this thesis, Snipe Bob has been completed and can run smoothly on the phone. The game’s name is Snipe Bob. It has four main screens: menu screen, game screen, high score screen and help screen. The task, player needs to complete, is to get enough score by shooting the bobs, which are moving across the screen one by one. The game has three levels. The player can get into next level after getting enough scores in the current level. On each level the bobs’ moving speed will get faster and faster. The player’s score will decrease if a squirrel, which is another character moving across the screen, is shot.
