Tiivistelmä
This study investigates the motivations and preferences of Finnish tourists visiting Antalya. By identifying the cultural, natural, and recreational factors that influence travel decisions, this research aims to provide insights into the key drivers of Finnish tourists' experiences in Antalya.
A survey was conducted to gather demographic information and assess factors such as accommodation choices, trip planning, interest in cultural and natural attractions, and specific leisure activities, travel motivations, and satisfaction levels with their Antalya experiences. Additionally, the study examines the importance of price, sustainability practices, and the likelihood of recommending Antalya. A SWOT analysis provides a strategic overview of Antalya's position as a tourist destination, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The findings indicate that natural landscapes, affordability, and cultural attractions are of paramount importance in attracting Finnish visitors. Nevertheless, the lack of comprehensive sustainability practices and the absence of cultural diversity point to areas for improvement. The recommendations concentrate on the improvement of sustainable tourism initiatives, the broadening of cultural offerings, and the targeting of younger demographics with the objective of sustaining and diversifying Antalya's appeal. These insights provide invaluable guidance for local stakeholders seeking to enhance the tourism experience and maintain Antalya's competitive advantage in the Mediterranean region.
