Tiivistelmä
The purpose of this research is to evaluate the effect of "Green Logistics" Initiatives in Nepal by identifying the key enablers and obstacles to the implementation of sustainable logistics. For this purpose, we have collected quantitative data from the 80 respondents through the use of a structured questionnaire & applied a quantitative research method using some descriptive stats, correlation, & multiple regression analysis. Findings of the study revealed that participants have a moderate understanding of Green Logistics. However, there are quite a few obstacles that negatively impact the possible implementation of Green Logistics including insufficient governmental support, a lack of sustainable, adequate infrastructure, and a lack of funding. Based on the results of the inferential analysis that showed a strong positive correlation between the participants', on the one hand, governmental concerns with organizational awareness of the impact of Green Logistics, the level of practiced Green policies and, on the other hand, the implementation of the aforementioned policies, one can conclude that with a reasonable shift in governmental policy of organizational capacity in Green Initiatives with its logistics there is a possibility to have a positive and significant impact on sustainable logistics in Nepal. Still having the knowledge and understanding of its risks as we demonstrated in the study, is more than enough reason to conclude that to Green Logistics to be regulated more efficiently in any country one has to stimulate its economic obstacles.
