Etsivän nuorisotyön vaikuttavuus : Liminkalainen malli

Abstract

Tässä opinnäytetyössäni lähdin tutkimaan etsivän nuorisotyön vaikuttavuutta Limingassa. Etsivää nuorisotyötä olen tehnyt Limingassa vuodesta 2009 lähtien. Opetusministeriö rahoittaa etsivää nuorisotyötä ja teemme vuosittain Opetusministeriöön raportin tavoitetuista nuorista.

Omaan käyttöön emme vielä ole tehneet seurantaa työn vaikuttavuudesta. Nyt se tulee käyttöön tämän opinnäytetyön myötä. Tutkiessa etsivän työn vaikuttavuutta olen havainnut selvän asiakasmäärän kasvun ja huolestuttavinta on havaita samojen nuorten esiintyminen ohjattavien nuorten listalla vuodesta toiseen.

Tutkimuksessa on seitsemän kaaviota, joilla voimme seurata Liminkalaisten nuorten ohjautumista etsivään nuorisotyöhön. Työn vaikuttavuus näkyy vuosittaisista ohjattavien määrästä, sekä nuorten ohjaamisesta heidän tarvitsemiinsa palveluihin.

Etsivän nuorisotyön vaikuttavuus on kuitenkin tilastoja laajempi. Todellista vaikuttavuutta on lähes päivittäin, kun olemme nuorten kanssa tekemisissä. Päivittäisiä kontakteja nuorta askarruttavissa asioissa on vaikea tilastoida. Työn kannalta ei olisi järkevää tilastoida kaikkia juttu tuokioita nuorten kanssa.

Etsivän nuorisotyön onnistumisesta ja vaikuttavuudesta kertoo parhaiten positiivinen palaute, jota saamme kouluilta, nuorilta, päättäjiltä ja vanhemmilta.

In this thesis i went to investigate the effectiveness of outreach youth work in Liminka. I have done Outreach youth work in Liminka since 2009. The Ministry of Education funded outreach youth work we do every year, and there report the target of the young people.

Own use we have not yet made the monitoring of the effectiveness of the work. Now it comes to the use of this thesis. Investigation of the effectiveness of outreach youth work, I have found a clear customer base growth and the worrying is to detect the presence of the same young people for young people controlled the list from year to year.

In this study, there are seven statistics, which we can follow the diversion of young people in outreach youth work. Effectiveness of the work appears in the annual number of volume-controlled, as well as young people towards the services they need.

The effectiveness of outreach youth work is, however, more extensive statistics. The actual effectiveness is almost on a daily basis, when we are dealing with young people. It is difficult to compile statistics of daily contact with young people, where we discuss your concerns. The work would not make sense in terms of statistics on all the good conversation with young people.

In outreach youth work the best measure of the success and effectiveness are positive feedback we receive from schools, young people, policy makers and parents.
