Tuotantoprosessin laatu verkostomuotoisissa tapahtumissa : Varkauden kaupungin toimintaympäristössä

Abstract

Tuotantoprosessin laatu verkostomuotoisissa tapahtumissa luo katsauksen verkostotoimijoiden tuotantoprosessin erityispiirteisiin. Mikä heitä motivoi osallistumaan yhteisen tapahtuman luomiseen ja mitkä asiat he kokevat haasteellisiksi tämänhetkisessä tuotantoprosessissa? Miten koordinoiva taho voi tukea ja ohjata verkostotoimijoita laadukkaampaan tuotantoprosessin malliin? Näitä näkökulmia pyrin tuomaan esille tässä kehittämisprojektissa.

Teoriaosuudessa tarkastelen verkostojohtamisen periaatteiden hyödyntämistä tuotantoprosessin sujuvuuden lisäämiseksi. Syvennyn myös vapaaehtoisuuden käsitteeseen ja erilaisiin tuotannon prosessimalleihin ja niiden käytettävyyteen verkostomuotoisten tapahtumien kevyemmän tapahtumatuotannon saavuttamiseksi.

Tiedonkeruumenetelminä käytettiin ryhmähaastattelua, ideointityöpajaa ja kyselyä. Nämä menetelmät valittiin tutkimusmenetelmiksi niiden osallistavan luonteen vuoksi. Tällä tavoin tarkistuslistan juurrutus on helpompi toteuttaa verkostotoimijoiden keskuudessa.

Teorian ja tiedonkeruumenetelmien pohjalta lopputuotokseksi tilaajalle eli Varkauden kaupungin kulttuuri- ja tapahtumapalveluille tehtiin verkostotoimijoille tarkoitettu visuaalinen ja selkokielinen tarkistuslista, jonka toteutukseen on osallistettu aktiivisia paikallisia verkostotoimijoita. Tilaaja haki yksinkertaista ratkaisua verkostomuotoisen tapahtuman tuotannon laadulliseen parantamiseen siten, että tapahtumatuotantoon osallistuvilla erilaisilla toimijoilla olisi selkeä ohjeistus, jota seuraamalla yhteistyö olisi helpompaa kaikille osapuolille.

The thesis examines the process of network-based events in the City of Varkaus and the motivation and needs of network actors that they expect from the coordinating level.

The quality of the production process in networked events provides an overview of the specifics of the production process of network operators. What motivates them to participate in the creation of a common event and what issues they find challenging in the current production process? How can the coordinating body support and guide network operators to a higher-quality production process model? These are the points I am trying to make in this development project.

In the theory section, I examine the use of network management principles to increase the smoothness of the production process. I also delve into the concept of voluntariness and various production process models and their usability to achieve lighter event production for networked events.

Group interview, brainstorming workshop and questionnaire were used as data collection methods. These methods were chosen as research methods due to their participatory nature. In this way, the rooting of the checklist is easier among network operators.

Based on the theory and data collection methods, a visual and easy-to-read checklist was made for the cultural and event services of the City of Varkaus as the final output, and active local network operators have been involved in the implementation of the checklist. The client was looking for a simple solution to qualitatively improve the production of a networked event so that the various actors involved in the event production would have clear instructions, by following which the cooperation would be easier for each party.
