Tiivistelmä
This thesis explores the topic of mental wellbeing, outdoor activities and the development of these two topics in the last years as individual and correlated topics. A specific area is early childhood development andn education and how outdoor education and play in nature can have a positive impact on childrens development. The development project is a three day outdoor camp developed for children for the commissioner OVERhang climbing gym in Prince George,British Columbia Canada. The thesis explores a variety of topics in the area of mental health and nature with theory review, analysis of observation and a survey on the connection of mental wellbeing with outdoor activities.
