Varma - varhaiskasvatuksen moniammatillinen tiimi: Esite Varma-tiimin toiminnasta Lappeenrannan varhaiskasvatukseen

Abstract

Opinnäytetyö toteutettiin yhteistyössä Lappeenrannan kaupungin varhaiskasvatuksen ja siellä pilotoidun varhaiskasvatuksen moniammatillisen Varma-tiimin kanssa. Varma-tiimi perustettiin tukemaan varhaiskasvattajia ja varhaiskasvatuksen piirissä olevien lasten perheitä lasten kehityksen ja oppimisen haasteissa erityisesti ennaltaehkäisyn ja varhaisen puuttumisen keinoin.

Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli tuottaa esite varhaiskasvatuksen moniammatillisen Varma-tiimin toiminnasta Lappeenrannan kaupungin alueella toimivien varhaiskasvattajien käyttöön. Varhaiskasvattajilla tarkoitetaan tässä kunnan päiväkotien henkilöstöä. Esitteen tavoitteena on lisätä varhaiskasvattajien tietoa Varma-varhaiskasvatuksen moniammatillisen tiimin toiminnasta.

Esitteen tekstiosiot muodostettiin käyttäen tiedonkeruumenetelmänä ryhmämuotoista teemahaastattelua. Haastateltavina olivat Varma-tiimin edustajat. Esitteen teksteistä kerättiin palaute Varma-tiimin edustajilta ja Lappeenrannan varhaiskasvatuksen johtajalta. Palautteen pohjalta tekstit muokattiin lopulliseen muotoonsa.

Esitteen sisältö koostui Varma-tiimin kuvauksesta, yhteystiedoista ja työskentelystä sekä työskentelyn tavoitteista. Esitteen graafisesta ulkoasusta vastasi Lappeenrannan kaupungin hankkima graafinen suunnittelija Heli Pukki. Esite valmistui käyttöön maaliskuussa 2020. Esitteestä ja yhteistyön kulusta kerättiin Varma-tiimiltä palaute sähköisellä palautelomakkeella. Varma-tiimi koki, että esite on tarpeellinen ja sitä tullaan jakamaan varhaiskasvatukseen.

The thesis was carried out in co-operation with Lappeenranta (Finland) child day care services and the multi-professional Varma team in early childhood education which was being piloted in Lappeenranta child day care services during the process of this thesis. The Varma team was set up to support early childhood educators and the families of children in child day care services with the challenges in development and learning of the children in particular by means of prevention and early intervention.

The purpose of the thesis was to produce a brochure about the competencies of the multi-professional Varma team in early childhood education for the early childhood educators operating in the municipality’s child day care centres in Lappeenranta. The aim of the brochure was to inform the early childhood educators about the functions of the Varma team.

The text sections of the brochure were created based on the data collection method of group-based theme interview. The interviewees were the representatives of the Varma team. The feedback for the text sections of the brochure was collected from both the representatives of the Varma team and the director of Lappeenranta child day care services. Based on the collected feedback, the texts were edited to their final form.

The content of the brochure consisted of a description of the team, the team’s contact information, how the team works and the goals of their work. The graphic design of the brochure was provided by a graphic designer Heli Pukki acquired by the City of Lappeenranta. The brochure was completed for use in March 2020. Feedback on the brochure and the course of the collaboration was collected from the Varma team by means of an electronic feedback form. In the Varma teams’ experience, the brochure is important, and it will be distributed to the child day care centres.
