Kroonista säärihaavaa ympäröivän ihon hoito: opetusvideo sairaanhoitajaopiskelijoille

Abstract

Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli kehittää tulevien sairaanhoitaja -diakonissa ja terveydenhoitajaopiskelijoiden osaamista haavaa ympäröivän ihon hoidosta opetusvideon muodossa. Opetusvideossa tarkastellaan kroonista säärihaavaa ympäröivän ihon hoitoa sekä muutoksia. Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli edistää opiskelijoiden osaamista kroonista säärihaavaa ympäröivää ihon muutosten tunnistamisessa, ennaltaehkäisyssä, arvioinnissa ja hoitotyössä.

Opinnäytetyö toteutettiin yhteistyössä Diakonia- ammattikorkeakoulun kanssa. Videon käsikirjoitus suunniteltiin ja video kuvattiin perustuen lähdekirjallisuuteen. Video sisälsi asiantuntijahaastattelun ja asiantuntijan kuvat omasta kuvapankista. Video esitettiin ikääntyvien hoitotyön kliinisen osaamisen opintokokonaisuudessa. Työtä tehdessämme otimme huomioon ohjaavan opettajan, tilaajan ja haastateltavamme toiveet. Teoriaosuudessa käsittelimme ympäröivän ihon muutosten lisäksi sairaanhoitajan haavanhoidon osaamista, potilaslähtöistä hoitotyötä, kivun hoitoa, aseptiikkaa, infektioita, haavahoitoa ja tuotteita sekä haavapotilaan hoidon dokumentointia painottaen ympäröivään ihoon. Näitä emme ottaneet videoon mukaan aiheen laajuuden vuoksi. Video keskittyy haavan ympäröivän ihomuutoksiin, tunnistamiseen, arviointimenetelmiin ja hoitotyöhön.

Video esitettiin sairaanhoitajaopiskelijoille, joiden täytettäväksi annettiin palautekysely. Palaute tehtiin verkkokyselynä. Palautekyselyssä oli mahdollista antaa palautetta opetusvideosta sekä kertoa omat kokemuksensa videon selkeydestä, havainnollisuudesta, opettavaisuudesta ja luotettavuudesta. Tilaaja oli tyytyväinen havainnollistavaan opetusvideoon. Palautteen perusteella videota kuvailtiin luotettavaksi, selkeäksi, havainnolliseksi ja opettavaiseksi.

The purpose of the thesis was to develop the skills of future nurse, deaconesses and public health nursing students in the form of an instructional video on skin care surrounding the wound. The instructional video discusses the treatment and changes of the skin surrounding the chronic skin ulcer. The aim of the thesis was to promote the students' competence in the care, identification and evaluation of changes in the skin surrounding chronic skin ulcers. The thesis was carried out in cooperation with Diakonia University of Applied Sciences. The script for the video was designed and the video was shot based on the source literature. The video included an expert interview and photos from her own image bank. The video was presented in the study module on clinical competence in nursing for the elderly. When doing the work, we considered the wishes of the supervising teacher, the client and our interviewee. In the theory section, in addition to changes in the surrounding skin, we covered nurse's wound care expertise, patient-oriented nursing, pain management, aseptic, infections, wound care and wound care products, as well as documentation of wound patient care with an emphasis on the surrounding skin. We did not include all of these in the video because of the breadth of the topic. The video focuses on changes in the skin surrounding the wound, identification, assessment methods and nursing.

The video was presented to nursing students who were given a feedback questionnaire to fill out. The feedback was conducted as an online survey. In the feedback survey, it was possible to give feedback on the instructional video, as well as share one's own experiences of the clarity, illustrative, instructive and reliability of the video. The client was satisfied with the illustrative instructional video. Based on the feedback, the video was described as readable, clear, illustrative and instructive.
