Tiivistelmä
Tämän kehittämispainotteisen opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli tuottaa Ikaalisten kaupungin kotihoidon sairaanhoitajille ohjausvideo, jonka avulla pystytään opettamaan suoliavannesidoksen omatoimista vaihtamista asiakkaille. Tavoitteena oli helpottaa sairaanhoitajien ohjaustilannetta, selkiyttää asiakkaalle suoliavanteen vaihtaminen ja esitellä tarvittavat avannetuotteet.
Kehittämistyö käynnistyi yhteydenotolla avannesidoksia valmistavaan Coloplast oy:n edustajaan, tuotteiden saamiseksi. Kotihoidossa tehtiin kartoitusta asiakkaan löytämiseksi ohjausvideolle. Ohjausvideolle kuvattiin suolistoavannesidostuotteet sekä suolistoavannesidoksen vaihtaminen asiakkaan kotona. Video editoitiin, lisättiin puhe ja tekstitys.
Asiakasohjausvideon kesto on kaksi minuuttia. Siinä näytetään yksi- ja kaksiosaisen suolistoavannesidoksen vaihtaminen sekä esitellään avannesidoksen vaihtamisessa tarvittavia välineitä. Ohjausvideo esiteltiin tilaajan sairaanhoitajille, jotka arvioivat ohjausvideon toimivuutta käytännön ohjaustilanteessa. Ohjausvideon soveltuvuutta asiakasohjaukseen pidettiin erinomaisena ja sen koettiin helpottavan sairaanhoitajan työtä ohjaustilanteissa. Jatkokehittämisideana olisi ohjausvideo avannetta ympäröivän ihon hoidosta ja suojauksesta. The aim of this development-oriented thesis was to produce an instructional video for the home care nurses working in the City of Ikaalinen. Video teaches how customers can change their stoma dressing by themselves. The aim was to ease the supervision situation of nurses, to clarify the change of the ostomy and to present required stoma products.
The process of development work started by contacting a representative of a company Coloplast Oy to get required products. In home care, to find the client for the instructional video. All the ostomy pouch products were shot on video and the control video depicted the changing of the ostomy pouch at the customer’s home. The video was edited, speech and subtitles were added. Duration of the customer guidance video is 2 minutes. The video shows how to change both one- and two-pieces system of ostomy pouch and introduces the tools needed to change the stoma dressing.
The instructional video was presented to the subscriber’s nurses, who evaluated the functionality of the video in practice. The applicability of the guidance video was considered excellent, and it was felt to facilitate the nurse’s work in guidance situations. As a further development proposal for the thesis would be to make guidance video how to cure skin around the stoma and how to protect skin.
