Tiivistelmä
Tämän kehittämispainotteisen opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli tuottaa terveydenhuollon ammattilaisille materiaalia kehitysvammaisten ja autisminkirjon häiriö -diagnoosin saaneen henkilön kohtaamiseen terveydenhuollossa. Tavoitteena lisätä tietoa aihealueesta. Videomateriaali on kirjalliseen oppaaseen verrattuna informatiivisempi ja monipuolisempi, ja ajatus oli tuottaa myös kestävän kehityksen mukaista materiaalia.
Terveydenhuollon ammattilaiset eivät aina tiedä kuinka kehitysvammainen ja autismikirjon häiriö -diagnoosin saanut henkilö tulisi kohdata. Kehittämispainotteisen opinnäytetyön avulla pyritään helpottamaan asiakaskohtaamisia esittämällä vaihtoehtoja. Tuomalla esiin erilaisia näkökulmia hoitotyön tilanteisiin, lisätään laadukasta ja ihmisarvoista kohtaamista.
Opinnäytetyö toteutettiin oppilaitoksen asettamien tutkintosääntöjen mukaan. Tiedonhaussa käytettiin erilaisia tutkimuksia ja alan kirjallisuutta. Tuotos kuvattiin työelämäyhteistyökumppanin, Rinnekotien toimipisteessä ja se julkaistaan opetus- ja perehdytyskäyttöön. Prosessilla saavutettiin opinnäytetyön tavoite, ja tuotos arvioitiin Rinnekodin ammattilaisten sekä kyselyyn vastanneiden toimesta, selkeäksi sekä tarpeelliseksi.

terveysasema, vastaanotto The purpose of this thesis was to produce material for the nursing staff on how to interact with the developmentally disabled and those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder in health care. The aim was to utilise the opportunities created by the video format, and to reach a broader examination of the subject through example.
The video format enables to produce sustainable material. The video produces relevant information through images and the spoken word. At the same time, there will be considered to produce material compatible with sustainable development.
Health care professionals do not always know how to encounter a client properly. This development-oriented thesis examines evidence-based information and aims to ease client interactions by diversifying the options available. By bringing different perspectives to nursing work, we hope to increase the quality and human dignity of these encounters.
The thesis was produced according to the parameters set out by our educational institution. The information gathering incorporates various research publications and medical literature. The video was filmed in the offices of the co-partner, Rinnekodit, and is intended for educational use. The process achieved the aims set for the thesis, and the output was evaluated to be both clear and fit for purpose.
