Pientoimenpiteissä avustaminen, perehdytysopas terveysaseman hoitajille

Abstract

Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli tuottaa perehdytysmateriaalia työelämän yhteistyökumppanille pientoimenpiteissä avustamisessa. Tavoitteena oli tehdä selkeä ja helppolukuinen perehdytysopas pientoimenpiteissä avustamisessa terveysaseman hoitajille. Opas suunniteltiin perehdyttämisen työvälineeksi ja osaksi työelämän yhteistyökumppanin organisaation perehdytyssuunnitelmaa. Perehdytysoppaan tavoitteena on sujuvoittaa ja tukea uuden työntekijän perehdytysprosessia, tukea työntekijän ammatillista kehitystä sekä edistää potilas- ja työturvallisuutta.

Opinnäytetyö toteutettiin kehittämispainotteisena opinnäytetyönä. Työ sisälsi ideointi-, suunnittelu-, toteutus- ja arviointivaiheet. Kehittämistyön lopuksi toteutettiin vapaamuotoinen kysely yhteistyökumppanin työntekijöille perehdytysoppaasta ja sen käytettävyydestä. Palautteen perusteella perehdytysopasta kehitettiin edelleen. Tämän jälkeen yhteistyökumppani on ottanut perehdytysoppaan käyttöönsä.

Perehdytysoppaan sisältö muodostui yhteistyökumppanin terveysasemalla tehtävistä pientoimenpiteistä ja pientoimenpiteissä avustamisesta hoitotyön näkökulmasta. Oppaassa käsiteltiin pientoimenpiteisiin liittyviä infektioriskejä, instrumentteja, välineitä ja hoito-ohjeita, aseptiikan merkitystä hoitotyössä, potilasohjausta sekä hoitajan työtehtäviä. Perehdytysoppaaseen sisällytettiin valokuvia instrumenteista ja välineistä.

Perehdytysopas suunniteltiin hoitajien työvälineeksi, oppaan materiaalista voivat hyötyä myös muut terveydenhuollon ammattilaiset kuten terveydenhuollon opiskelija ja lääkärit. Perehdytysoppaan avulla voidaan edistää työntekijän ammatillisen osaamisen kehittymistä ja vaikuttaa perehdytyksen luotettavuuteen ja tasalaatuisuuteen.

The purpose of this thesis was to produce an orientation material in assisting with minor procedures for the working life partners for working life partners. The goal was to make a clear and easy-to-read orientation guide for assisting health center nurses in minor procedures. The guide was designed as a tool for orientation and part of the orientation plan of the working life partner's organization. The aim of the orientation guide was to facilitate and support the orientation process of a new employee, support the employee's professional development, and promote patient and occupational safety.

The thesis was implemented as a development-oriented thesis. The work was carried out according to a linear model, which included the following phases: ideation, planning, implementation, and evaluation. At the end of the development work, a free-form survey was conducted for the partner's employees about the orientation guide and its usability. The orientation guide was developed based on the feedback. After this, the partner adopted the orientation guide.

The content of the orientation guide consisted of minor procedures performed at the partner's health center and assisting with minor procedures from a nursing perspective. The guide discussed infection risks related to minor procedures, instruments, equipment and care instructions, the importance of asepsis in nursing work, patient guidance, and the nurse's duties. Photos of instruments and equipment were included in the orientation guide.

The orientation guide was designed as a tool for nurses, but students and other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, can also benefit from the guide’s material. With the help of the orientation guide, the development of the employee's professional skills can be promoted and reliability and uniformity or orientation can be affected.
