Tämä opinnäytetyö toteutettiin yhteistyössä Diakonia-ammattikorkeakoulun Porin kampuksen hoitotyön lehtorin kanssa. Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli luoda näyttöön perustuvan tutkitun tiedon pohjalta opetusvideo perifeerisen laskimon kanyloinnista sekä nestehoidon toteuttamisen perusteista Diakonia-ammattikorkeakoulun opetuskäyttöön.

Videoon kuvattiin kanyloinnin ja nestehoidon toteuttamisen vaiheet pääpiirteittäin, tavoitteena edistää tulevien Diakin opiskelijoiden kliinistä hoitotyön osaamista. Tässä opinnäytetyössä käytiin läpi perusasiat nestehoidon toteuttamiseen, yleisesti käytettävät perusnesteet sekä niiden käyttöaiheet.

Opetusvideo suunniteltiin kokonaisuutena sellaiseksi, että laskimokanylointi ja nestehoidon toteuttaminen esiteltiin mahdollisimman tarkasti. Lopputuloksena syntyi video, jossa esiteltiin kaikki toteutuksen kannalta tärkeä tieto havainnollistamalla, selostavalla äänellä sekä tietoiskuina videoon kirjoitettuna.

Sairaanhoitajaopiskelijoilta kerätyn sähköisen palautteen perusteella opetusvideo oli kokonaisuutena onnistunut. Tilaajan käytettäväksi luovutettiin videomateriaali opetuskäyttöön. Myös töissä olevat sairaanhoitajat saavat videosta tarvitsemaansa kertausta niin halutessaan.

This thesis was carried out in collaboration with Diaconia University of Applied Sciences. The purpose of the thesis was to create an educational video based on evidence-based research on the cannulation of the peripheral vein and the grounds for the implementation of fluid therapy for Diaconia University of Applied Sciences for educational use.

The video described the main stages of the implementation of canylisation and fluid therapy, with the aim of promoting the clinical nursing expertise of future Diak students. This thesis went through the basics of implementing fluid therapy, the commonly used basic fluids, and the indications for their use.

The educational video was designed as a whole in such a way that venous cannulation and the implementation of fluid therapy were presented as accurately as possible. The end result was a video that presented all the information important to the implementation with an illustrative, explainable voice and as information shots written into the video.

Based on the electronic feedback collected from nursing students, the educational video as a whole was successful. Video material was handed over to the subscriber for educational use. Nurses at work will also receive the recap they need from the video if they so wish.
