Opinnäytetyö on kehittämispainotteinen opinnäytetyö, jonka tilaajana toimii satakuntalainen yksityinen perhekuntoutuslaitos. Työn suunniteltuna tavoitteena oli tuoda näkyväksi yksikön perhekuntoutusprosessin loppuvaiheen olemassa olevat työmenetelmät ja dokumentoida sen vaiheen työskentelyn prosessit ohjekansioksi yksikön henkilökunnalle. Tarkoituksena oli kehittää yksikön prosesseja traumatietoisen työskentelyn näkökulmasta. Kehittämistyönä tuotetun kansion tavoitteena oli helpottaa uuden työntekijän perehdytystä ja se tekee kuntoutuksen päättymisestä suunnitelmallisen yhtenäisen prosessin kohti kuntoutuksen päätöstä.

Kehittämistyön aineistoa kerättiin Google -forms kyselyillä. Ensimmäinen kysely tehtiin opinnäytetyön suunnitelman valmistumisvaiheessa liittyen kansion sisältöihin, eli kerättiin tietoa jo olemassa olevista käytänteistä ja henkilökunnan ajatuksia siitä mitä osia kansiossa olisi hyvä olla. Henkilökunnalle tehtyjen kyselyn pohjalta lähdettiin tuottamaan Kotiin päin -työskentelyn kansiota. Kansion saatua muotonsa ja sisältönsä se annettiin yksikölle tarkasteluun useamman viikon ajaksi. Henkilökunnalta kysyttiin avoimin kysymyksin palautetta ja kehittämisideoita sisällöstä. Tämä palaute analysoitiin ja sen perusteella kehitettiin kansio lopulliseen muotoonsa.

Valmista kansiota ja siinä olevia tehtäviä kokeiltiin yksiköllä. Henkilökunnalta kerättiin palaute kansion käytöstä ja sen perusteella käytännöt olivat toimivia kuntoutuksen loppuvaiheessa. Kansion ajateltiin helpottavan uuden työntekijän perehdytystä tehtäviinsä. Palautteen perusteella tehtiin johtopäätös, että tuotettu ohjekansio tuki henkilökunnan työtä perhekuntoutuksen loppuvaiheessa ja oli tarpeellinen työväline. Kansio oli toimiva työväline yksikön työn tueksi.

The thesis is a development-oriented thesis commissioned by a private family rehabilitation institution in Satakunta. The planned goal of the work was to make visible the existing working methods in the final phase of the unit's family rehabilitation process and to document the work processes of that phase into an instruction folder for the unit's staff. The aim was to develop the unit's processes from the perspective of trauma-informed work. The aim of the folder produced as development work was to facilitate the orientation of new employees and to make the end of rehabilitation a systematic and uniform process towards the end of rehabilitation.

The data for the development work was collected with Google forms surveys. The first survey was carried out during the completion phase of the thesis plan regarding the contents of the folder, i.e. information was collected about already existing practices and the staff's thoughts on which parts should be included in the folder. Based on the questionnaire conducted among the staff, the production of a folder on Homewards began. Once the folder had received its shape and contents, it was given to the unit for review for several weeks. The staff was asked for feedback and development ideas on the content with open-ended questions. This feedback was analyzed and based on it, the folder was developed into its final form.

The finished folder and the exercises in it were tested with the unit. Feedback on the use of the folder was collected from the staff, and based on this, the practices were functional in the final stages of rehabilitation. The folder was thought to make it easier for the new employee to be introduced to their tasks. Based on the feedback, it was concluded that the instructions folder supported the work of the staff in the final phase of family rehabilitation and was a necessary tool. The folder was a functional tool to support the unit's work.
